AI Generated Pics

Today I wanted to talk about « AI Art ». It is quite a popular and dividing subject right now and I feel that it’s going to be one for quite some time. For the people who do not know what it is : it’s pictures created by a computer based on real artists art.
I personally don’t like it very much. I understand that some may find this interesting but I don’t think that’s a good way to improve your art skill. And I won’t even talk about people who sell AI generated pics to others claiming that it’s their work.
And you, what do you think about it ?

That’s exactly that. I am saddened that so many talented artists use AI just because it’s « easier ».

2022-10-15 15:02:54 +0000 UTCI also don't really like it, it's just kinda lazy and it doesn't really create it's own art, it just takes someone else's art and tries to change it up a little so it doesn't look copy pasted.
