Happy Foxgirl Friday Everyone!

Just a quick FYI: This was already mentioned on Discord, but I'll share it here too – I'm currently having PC issues. It keeps randomly freezing, requiring me to press the reset button to get it going again. I've tried troubleshooting by swapping out parts, but from what I can see (and with the help of a friend and an AI), we suspect it might be a problem with the motherboard's power regulation. It seems likely that there's a dead or dying capacitor causing the issue.

A replacement motherboard arrived late last night, so once I finish up some final tasks while my PC is still somewhat functional, I'll spend this afternoon dismantling my PC and swapping out the motherboards. Hopefully, that will solve the problem!

Update 2024-11-22

Unfortunately, replacing the motherboard did not solve the problem; it ended up being the CPU. My PC is now up and running again, but because I have a new motherboard and CPU in my system, Windows is failing to activate and asking me to pay $200-$300 for a new Windows license.

I'm considering putting my old motherboard back in to see if it will reactivate. I don't particularly want to do either option, but it's better than wasting money. For now, I'll have to put up with the "Activate Windows" overlay in the bottom right corner of my screen until I can spare some time to swap out he parts again.

But for now, I'm back!
