1-Click INSTALL ComfyUI WebUI!
Added 2024-07-14 16:26:51 +0000 UTCHey everyone! I've created a 1-click installer for the "ComfyUI" (and ComfyUI manager) portable version that a lot of people asked for, that is basically the most complete and powerful Webui for anything related to AI image generation!
The installer of course automates the entire install process for the UI and manager!
Here's how it works:
1. Download the COMFYUI&MANAGER_AUTO_INSTALL.bat
2. Create a new folder on your computer and place the installer inside
3. Launch the installer
4. Choose whether you want to use your CPU to run it (type "A") or if you have an Nvidia GPU (type "B") then press enter
5.????
6. Profit 😎
Next time you want to launch ComfyUI, just launch the "run_nvidia_gpu.bat" (if you have an NVIDIA GPU) or the "run_cpu.bat" if you choose the CPU option😉

2024-07-30 19:31:52 +0000 UTChi, install worked, but when i try to use the manager to install a model it returns "forbidden" and the terminal returns this: ERROR: To use this action, a security_level of `middle or below` is required. Please contact the administrator. i found a config.ini file that had this parameter and i changed it but nothing seems to have changed. hope you can help

2024-07-30 10:48:19 +0000 UTCwhen that happens it's usually because of a bad initial python install, it can't find your python installation so it downloads the python installer. For this comfyui install it should be fine since it's a portable version but for other ai tools this might be an issue since you need to have the correct python version correctly installed (3.10.11 for example correctly added to path)

I ran the installer, python is installed... and thats it Running it in cmd, it reports: failed to download python installer... even though it did download python installer edit: I deleted the python, 7zip and git parts (since I have them) in the bat and it proceeded
