2019-12-11 07:08:20 +0000 UTCSo first, bubblers will provide breath control in that the tube for breathing in is usually small AND is generally submerged in the water. The end result there being that to breathe in, one must fight a bit against the water. Second, the fact that it has water in it produces an opportunity to easily add scents, such as some soothing aroma, or poppers or the like since the chemical can be mixed in with the water. Plus you hear the bubbling of the water as it's breathed in.
