Added 2019-01-18 15:37:25 +0000 UTCI guess I really don't have much to say about it beyond I dig how the colors came out. specifically how Kat's gear is layered.
Had originally intended to do this with a much softer rendering method like Ive been attempting lately, but quickly scrapped it for this look. Had thought that if I went that way with it I wasn't going to be able to do anything interesting with lighting, and it was going to end up not as good as I wanted.
But this, I'm fine with the colors and lighting on this (really could have done another pass at Kat and Mel's faces before coloring but..... I'm stupid)

The color-style on this really turned out looking neat. It's stylized and cool, it separates the materials nicely and the lighting is super-cool on both the trio and for the hazy studio backdrop. Love the warmth and playfulness in it, it's cute and very "instagram" in a way that feels quite fitting.
