Went back and cleaned this one up for my own selfish reasons.

Nurse Kat caring for a patient.

Just gonna copypasta the bit of bad fiction I had cobbled together when the sketch was posted.

"A low muted hiss. A soft calm voice telling her to relax and just breathe. Quiet soothing reminders to breathe in, and breathe out. That she will be fine. That everything will be fine if she just keeps breathing. Breathe in, and breathe out. The nurse cradling Odessa's head in the crook of her arm, leaving her hand to drape across the patient's chest. Feeling the slow rise and fall of each breath in, and each breath out. No feelings, no cares, no worries, and no grand thoughts. Just the firm pressure of the mask against her face, the embrace of the nurse holding her close, and the continued affirmations that everything was going to be ok. That persistent soothing voice. Breathe in, and breathe out. Sinking deeper and deeper with each breath. Breathe in, and breathe out. Everything will be ok. In, and out.

In.... and out..."
