Little Garden 06-10

Title: So, Boss, You’re Selling Me?

Seeing the teacup in front of Shiroyasha was empty, Kurousagi quickly stood up to refill it.

However, as she poured the tea, her mind drifted slightly.

Kurousagi truly didn’t want to give up hope of restoring No-Name to what it once was. For that, she was willing to sacrifice everything.

But... some things couldn’t be achieved by sacrifice alone.

Even if Kurousagi was willing to pay any price, could she, as merely a Four-Digit, really accomplish it?

Wasn’t even Shiroyasha looking utterly helpless?

This hope could only be called a faint glimmer.

“Ehem, Kurousagi, the cup’s almost full.” Aslan whispered, gently reminding the daydreaming Kurousagi. Spilling tea would be a bit impolite.

Kurousagi snapped back to reality and smiled apologetically at Aslan and Shiroyasha.

But as she looked at him, her eyes paused for a moment, and without anyone noticing, a hint of sadness flashed across them.

After all, if not for the unknown Demon Lord’s attack, Aslan would most likely have become her friend—or even her junior.

Kurousagi was well aware of the strategic value of Aslan’s abilities, as well as his exceptional talent in logistics and business.

Although Little Garden was a super-magical world filled with gods and demons, and even Three- and Two-Digit beings could create worlds without difficulty. For Seven-, Six-, and even lower Five-Digit communities in the lower layers, spatial items and dimension-related Gifts were extremely expensive.

Most communities still transported goods by horse-drawn carts and had to pay special fees when crossing boundary gates.

The item cards Aslan created could completely solve this problem. If sold, they would surely be in high demand.

As for strategic value, the ability to freely travel between Little Garden and the outer worlds was valuable enough on its own.

Especially within No-Name—a community without any adults—they desperately needed a reliable, mature adult, or a leader.

As for Kurousagi herself? She didn’t feel she could bear that responsibility.

It would be wonderful if Aslan could join No-Name.

But the reality was, Aslan had now become Shiroyasha’s god’s follower, practically joining Thousand Eyes.

The person who should have been her ally had already been taken by Shiroyasha.

Yet, Shiroyasha seemed to notice the sadness in Kurousagi’s eyes. She glanced sideways at Aslan, then back at her.

A mischievous smile appeared in her eyes.

“What’s wrong? Staring at my god’s follower for so long?”

“Kurousagi likes my follower?”

As she said this, Shiroyasha pulled Aslan forward, patted his shoulder, and pinched his cheek.

“Look at this strong body, this handsome face, and this incredibly promising Gift.”

“Kurousagi, it’s natural you’d be enchanted.”

“Hey, boss, that doesn’t sound like a compliment, does it?”

Hearing Shiroyasha’s description, Aslan’s face involuntarily filled with dark lines.

“It sounds exactly like you’re selling a male slave!!”

“Ehem, don’t focus on the details.”

Shiroyasha casually waved her hand, signaling Aslan to keep quiet.

But upon hearing the word “enchanted” from Shiroyasha, Kurousagi felt a little flustered. Her face turned red.

Even her originally blue-pink hair and rabbit ears turned bright cherry pink, showing just how intense Kurousagi’s emotional shift was.

Oh no, this is bad!

Desiring someone else’s follower, and now being caught by the owner—how could she handle this awkward situation?

In Kurousagi’s mind, Shiroyasha had already realized she was eyeing Aslan and intended to take him.

Most importantly, she did genuinely want to take Shiroyasha’s follower.

And the intuition of powerful beings was terrifying. Clearly, Shiroyasha had already seen through her intentions.

“So, Kurousagi, do you want to buy him?”

“Sorry, Lord Shiroyasha, I shouldn’t have thought of taking Mr. Aslan!”

Kurousagi and Shiroyasha spoke at the same time.

But Kurousagi was momentarily stunned by Shiroyasha’s words.

Meanwhile, Shiroyasha wore a sly smile, watching Kurousagi fall right into her trap.

Satisfied, Shiroyasha picked up her fan and tapped it against Aslan’s still-sturdy body.

“So, Kurousagi, how about three photo books in exchange for him?”

“Hah?”

Aslan and Kurousagi froze in silence.

“So, boss, you’re just selling me like this?”

Aslan said sorrowfully, clutching his chest. The boss he had just acknowledged, the great boss he had just found?

Was she really going to abandon him like this?

It hurt—indescribable heartbreak!

“You brat, act normal!”

Shiroyasha couldn’t take it anymore and smacked Aslan’s forehead with her fan, creating a large bump on his head just like in anime.

Smoke even seemed to rise from the bump.

Aslan immediately winced in pain and crouched into a corner,

Hugging his head and crying...

“I only told you to guard them at the No-Name base. This is a test for you!”

Did she really have to bring Aslan along with her instead of leaving him at No-Name for training?

Sorry, Aslan wasn’t a beautiful girl.

And Shiroyasha didn’t want any other male creatures in her life!

“Alright, boss. Good that you’re not abandoning me.”

Overjoyed, Aslan immediately lunged forward and tightly hugged Shiroyasha’s leg again. In Little Garden, without a powerful boss, it was like playing chess without a helmet.

It was completely unsafe.

How comforting that the great boss wouldn’t leave him.

Then, Shiroyasha recoiled in disgust, distancing herself from him.

Well, that was one reason. At least Shiroyasha wouldn’t like a male creature who kept hugging her leg.

So sad and angry—when will we men ever rise?!

Only Aslan remained, crouched in the corner.

“So, Kurousagi, what’s your decision? Three photo books to employ this guy for three years?”

Shiroyasha said confidently. For just three photo books, she could get a high-potential asset—a Five-Digit god working for her for three years.

It was a win-win, wasn’t it?

“I... “

Kurousagi looked at Aslan crouched in the corner, hesitating. She felt uneasy involving him.

Moon Rabbits were a dedicated and self-sacrificing race, but they only sacrificed themselves—they never considered sacrificing others.

She even felt guilty just for involving an innocent person like Aslan.

Shiroyasha, of course, saw exactly what Kurousagi was thinking. She lightly kicked Aslan.

“The photo books will be increased by one.”

Instantly, Aslan perked up. He looked at Kurousagi, his eyes shining with enthusiasm.

He couldn’t wait to dedicate himself to Kurousagi!

Sorry, sold? What was sold?

This was clearly the boss’s kindness!

This was clearly the boss’s test!

(Boss Shiroyasha, I deeply respect you!)

(Boss, you’re truly the best boss in the world!)

-

Title: An Angry Kurousagi Can Also Bite

Seeing Aslan immediately perk up and even pull out his DSLR camera, the corner of Kurousagi’s mouth couldn’t stop twitching.

Sorry, she had to retract her earlier thoughts about ”involving others isn’t right” and ”am I being irresponsible?”

Right now, those thoughts had vanished completely.

All that filled her mind was deep concern for her own safety.

No wonder this man had become Shiroyasha’s god’s follower!

They both shared the same perverted hobbies. It would’ve been strange if he hadn’t become her follower.

“No... anything perverted is strictly forbidden!”

Seeing Shiroyasha getting increasingly out of hand—snatching the camera from Aslan’s hands and, somehow, already lying on the floor—Kurousagi quickly crossed her arms over her chest.

If she wasn’t careful, her photo book wouldn’t stay “pure” anymore!

She, Kurousagi, was a recently matured, pure Moon Rabbit!

She didn’t want to lose her purity!

Hearing Kurousagi’s words, Aslan and Shiroyasha exchanged glances. Their joyful expressions instantly turned gloomy.

A photo book without risqué photos—what was the point?

Instantly, their enthusiasm vanished.

“We must protest!”

Aslan raised the banner of resistance against Kurousagi’s oppression. He raised his hand and shouted loudly, voicing his dissatisfaction.

(I’ve already sold myself to you—what’s wrong with taking a few suggestive photos?!)

“Kurousagi, we’ve already handed over our god’s follower. Why can’t we even get a few photos?”

Shiroyasha took up Aslan’s banner of protest. Lying on the floor, she spoke with feigned righteousness.

“Hehe!”

Kurousagi sneered. Her beautiful face was now filled with cold disdain.

No one understood Shiroyasha’s mind better than her. After all, she’d been kidnapped by Shiroyasha since childhood and forced to wear all kinds of embarrassing outfits.

Even the emotionless Canaria had joined forces with Shiroyasha to trap her.

They had “trained” her so thoroughly that now, even Canaria couldn’t trick her anymore.

Don’t ask—those were lessons paid for in blood and tears!

To this day, she didn’t know how much of her dark history was in Canaria’s possession.

And now, just with Shiroyasha and her god’s follower, did they really think they could make her wear those shameful clothes again?

◆━⊰✧⊱━◆

Finally, accompanied by the flash of a camera as Shiroyasha, still lying on the floor, pressed the shutter button.

The next second, lightning flashed. The quasi-divinity Vajra appeared in Kurousagi’s hand, unleashing a powerful electric strike.

Aslan’s DSLR camera instantly turned to ash.

Shiroyasha and Aslan both felt something was terribly wrong.

“Uh-oh, we teased Kurousagi too much!”

Aslan and Shiroyasha didn’t dare turn around to look at Kurousagi. They scrambled on hands and feet, desperately crawling toward the door to escape.

Hope, dawn. Once they passed through that door, everything would be over.

But just as Aslan’s hand was about to touch the doorknob, Shiroyasha—still lying on the floor—suddenly grabbed his ankle.

She yanked him down to the ground.

“You bastard! I’m your main god! Let your main god escape first!”

But seeing Kurousagi, who now looked like she wanted to devour someone alive, Aslan couldn’t help but shiver.

He clung tightly to the doorframe, trying to ignore Shiroyasha, who was being forcibly dragged from behind him.

“Sorry, Boss Shiroyasha. I’ll never forget you. You’re a great boss.”

(Sorry, Boss Shiroyasha. For my safety, please hold her off for a moment.)

An angry Kurousagi was truly terrifying!

Right now, Kurousagi wasn’t Kurousagi anymore—she was a man-eating rabbit ready to pounce!

Yet Aslan felt relieved, because thanks to his boss’s courage and sacrifice, he had narrowly escaped danger.

But was it really that simple?

Just as Aslan turned and prepared to open the door to flee, a voice as soft as silk whispered into his ear.

“Mr. Aslan, where are you going? Does Kurousagi need to escort you out?”

Her breath was like orchid fragrance against his ear, but Aslan had no time to dwell on such things.

He was focused on one thing only—escaping this den of evil, getting outside.

But clearly, it was already too late.

Feeling a wild, beast-like aura beside him, Aslan’s body felt rusted and frozen, completely unable to move.

(Move, body, move!)

(It’s just Kurousagi—why am I so scared?)

(I’m a Five-Digit god who can destroy the surface of the Earth!)

(Why can’t my body move?!)

(Ah, right—Kurousagi is a natural Four-Digit god.)

*CRACK!*

Aslan’s head tilted, unconscious, and was immediately hurled by Kurousagi onto Shiroyasha, who was already lying there like a corpse.

Like piling up bodies.

After teaching those two perverts a lesson, Kurousagi cheerfully dusted off her hands.

Calmly, she poured tea for Shiroyasha, and didn’t forget to pour a cup for Aslan as well.

Kurousagi was a respectable lady—how could she be impolite?

She simply ignored the two guests lying there like corpses.

Even humming a cheerful, unknown tune.

“Hmm? Why haven’t Lord Shiroyasha and Mr. Aslan come yet?”

“The tea’s almost cold.”

Hearing that sweet voice, Aslan felt uneasy, but he knew this was entirely his own fault.

“Boss, shall we leave?”

Aslan, lying like a corpse, communicated with Shiroyasha through the divine bond between a main god and their follower.

“Ehem, Kurousagi’s hands are really strong.”

Shiroyasha felt her broken neck. Kurousagi really was impressive—breaking the spine of a Star Spirit.

Of course, this was partly because Shiroyasha had let her guard down. Otherwise, even if she stood still and let Kurousagi blast her for days, not a single hair would’ve been harmed.

As for Aslan, his neck had been twisted completely by Kurousagi. Though such injuries could heal in a few breaths for a god like him,

He’d first have to get his neck realigned. Right now, he didn’t dare move even slightly.

“How about we just leave and come back in again?”

Shiroyasha glanced at Kurousagi, who was waiting for “Shiroyasha and Aslan’s visit” and the corner of her mouth twitched.

She knew perfectly well that Kurousagi, in this state, wouldn’t listen to anything.

After all, this version of Kurousagi had been shaped by her and Canaria together—and she was the one who had experienced it the most.

How could she not recognize it?

-

Title: Getting Colder and Colder

“Indeed, you’ve got talent, kid.” Shiroyasha said, patting Aslan’s shoulder hard.

Just moments ago, the two who had been faking death finally gave up and decided to go along with Kurousagi’s act.

Then, Aslan used the spatial manipulation ability he had just gained to instantly teleport himself and Shiroyasha.

“Of course, all thanks to the divinity you, Boss, granted me.”

Aslan knew very well that with his own abilities, achieving spatial manipulation would have been extremely difficult.

After all, the ability to traverse worlds via the Planeswalker spark and spatial manipulation were entirely unrelated.

At best, Aslan could be said to have a high affinity for space-time. To actually disrupt space-time, he would have needed to learn specific spells first.

Unlike now, when he had instantly become a space god capable of manipulating space itself.

“Of course. Just look at who I am.”

Shiroyasha was clearly pleased by Aslan’s praise. Her earlier irritation from being interrupted by Kurousagi had instantly vanished.

(This kid knows how to flatter.)

Then, Shiroyasha opened the door, casually sat back in her chair, and waited for Kurousagi to speak.

Aslan noticed an empty chair meant for him and sat down without hesitation.

“Sssshh... So hot!”

Aslan took a small sip of tea, struggling to suppress a reaction.

Seeing Aslan sip the tea, Kurousagi looked at him with hopeful eyes.

“Mr. Aslan, how is the tea?”

“Fragrant and rich. I’ve never tasted tea this delicious.”

Aslan saw Kurousagi’s smiling face and felt his heart stir. He chose to answer honestly.

Perhaps this hot cup of tea was Kurousagi’s punishment for them.

Fortunately, the tea was only slightly hot.

They had to bear the consequences of their misdeeds—even if it meant drinking through tears.

After all, the tea was only a little hot.

Wasn’t Shiroyasha also drinking it without any expression?

“Oh really? I’m glad you like it, Mr. Aslan.”

After Aslan finished the tea in his cup, Kurousagi gave a gentle smile.

Instantly, the atmosphere among the three returned to normal.

Of course, it was mainly Shiroyasha who spoke, while Kurousagi and Aslan listened quietly.

As for the photo books? What photo books?

All three instantly ignored the fact that such a thing had ever existed.

But suddenly, Shiroyasha slammed the table with tremendous force. Her small, beautiful face was filled with fury!

“This is outrageous! Absolutely outrageous!”

Though Aslan didn’t know what news Shiroyasha had just received—something that could make her this angry—

It certainly wasn’t good news.

Kurousagi didn’t even have time to feel sorry for the table. She stared at Shiroyasha with concern.

Her instincts told her that the news Shiroyasha had just received was likely related to No-Name’s current situation.

Otherwise, Shiroyasha wouldn’t be this furious.

“Those people are truly outrageous!”

“Do they really not care about old friendships at all?”

Shiroyasha sighed helplessly.

The news was simple: an anonymous seller would use Thousand Eyes’ auction house to auction off a slave.

A slave named Leticia.

Leticia Draculea, former senior executive of Arcadia and one of its core members.

Less than a day after Arcadia fell, one of their executives was already to be auctioned as a slave.

And the opposing party had specifically designated Shiroyasha as the auctioneer.

Who didn’t know that Shiroyasha was one of the few closest to Arcadia?

But Thousand Eyes was a commercial community. As long as the price was high enough, not only could Shiroyasha be invited—both goddesses could be summoned.

All actions by the opposing party were legal and by the book. Even if Shiroyasha wanted to refuse, she couldn’t.

Unless she chose to return to the Upper District and reclaim her Heliocentrism divinity.

But if she did that, she alone wouldn’t stand a chance of tracking down the Demon King who destroyed Arcadia!

This was a devastating, painful blow!

No wonder Shiroyasha was so angry!

But who could blame her? She was the only one willing to investigate the mastermind regardless of cost.

As for Arcadia’s other former allies?

The banner and name of Arcadia were gone. Even Canaria, who could have brought them great achievements, had disappeared.

Of course, those allies were like “tea that cools once the guest leaves, or monkeys scattering when the tree falls.”

Otherwise, No-Name wouldn’t now be accompanied only by Shiroyasha, with not a single other person coming to comfort or protect the remaining children.

Indra might count, but he was the head of the Heavenly Host. Too many eyes were always watching him.

He could only offer help in secret.

“Then... what’s Lady Leticia’s starting price?”

Kurousagi asked with a trembling voice. If she could, even if she had to sell everything, Kurousagi would redeem Leticia.

But she knew Leticia’s worth all too well.

After all, Leticia’s record was extraordinary. At just twelve years old, she became the highest-ranked Dragon Knight in the system tree and the King of the vampire race.

She also led the formation of the Floor Master system and was the only person besides Shiroyasha to become a Full Floor Master.

A being like this—even as a mere display—was immensely valuable.

Moreover, Leticia was currently a senior executive of Arcadia, with power nearly equal to that of an exceptional Four-Digit.

“Leticia with her divinity: starting price one hundred million Thousand Eyes gold coins. Without her divinity: one million Thousand Eyes gold coins.”

Shiroyasha said with a helpless tone, even grumbling slightly.

Leticia’s divinity wasn’t a fragmentary one like the Five-Digit divinity Shiroyasha had given Aslan.

It was a complete divinity—anyone who absorbed it could instantly become a Four-Digit. Whoever claimed Leticia’s divinity would immediately ascend to Four-Digit status.

And Leticia, who once made many Demon Kings tremble, was now treated as a mere bonus prize.

“One million Thousand Eyes gold coins...”

Kurousagi was speechless. Even Arcadia’s previous cash reserves had never reached one million gold coins.

Of course, that didn’t include the rare Gifts they had accumulated.

In Little Garden, one Thousand Eyes gold coin was roughly equivalent to ten thousand yen.

Though ordinary goods in Little Garden weren’t too expensive, this price was enough to make Kurousagi give up hope.

It was hard to say whether all of No-Name’s remaining assets combined could even reach one hundred Thousand Eyes gold coins.

After all, No-Name had been utterly devastated. Besides the villa they lived in, all that remained were ruins and land stripped of vitality.

-

Title: Aslan’s True Gift

“By the way, Boss, why don’t you just buy her yourself?”

Aslan asked curiously. For someone like Shiroyasha, that amount of money shouldn’t be much, right?

Yet, seeing Shiroyasha’s awkward expression, Aslan realized he might have just asked a very foolish question.

Shiroyasha glanced at Kurousagi, whose eyes had lit up with renewed hope, blinking at her expectantly.

She awkwardly unfolded her fan—emblazoned with the Thousand Eyes logo—and held it up to hide her face.

If only Shiroyasha could have confidently slammed the table and declared, “It’s just Leticia? I’ll buy her.”

Kurousagi might have instantly fallen for her.

Just a few risqué photo books—she could take as many pictures as she wanted.

Kurousagi, being a self-sacrificing Moon Rabbit, wouldn’t have refused Shiroyasha, who had just saved her friend.

But the problem was...

“I don’t have that kind of money either?”

Shiroyasha said helplessly, shrugging her shoulders.

Did they think she was rich now?

Although she possessed many rare Gifts, she couldn’t liquidate them quickly.

As for things that were usable and easy to sell?

They’d already been taken by that woman—Canaria.

Otherwise, she wouldn’t be this furious.

Clearly, this was a direct attack aimed at her!

Now it could be said that Canaria had, by accident, dragged No-Name into this mess.

Thinking back, she, Shiroyasha, had once been one of the wealthiest beings in Little Garden. But to help Canaria fight the Absolute Evil, she nearly sold her Sun Authority.

Seeing Shiroyasha and Kurousagi frustrated, Aslan remained silent.

He simply stood quietly beside them, holding two Magic cards, lost deep in thought.

He was wondering—were Shiroyasha and Kurousagi worthy of him revealing his greatest secret?

His true Gift, bestowed and authenticated by the core of Little Garden upon his arrival.

Although, thanks to his knowledge of the original story, Aslan understood Shiroyasha’s and Kurousagi’s personalities well.

But knowing their characters didn’t mean he had to fully trust them.

And if he didn’t intervene, Leticia’s fate might end up in Perseus’ hands.

Three years later, when Izayoi and the others arrived, they would win her back.

But should he take the risk?

Aslan sank into deep contemplation.

If he succeeded, he’d gain a true powerful patron and Shiroyasha’s protection.

If he failed, the consequence would merely be that he’d never set foot in Little Garden again until he reached a certain level.

After all, as a Planeswalker capable of traveling freely between infinite worlds, Aslan wasn’t short of worlds to help him grow.

But if he succeeded, he’d gain the protection and guidance of a Two-Digit ranked figure.

That was tempting.

Go for it. At worst, he’d never return to this “dumpster” called Little Garden.

Besides, if he couldn’t even take such a small risk, how could he continue journeying across countless worlds?

Dangers in other worlds weren’t necessarily weaker than here.

“Maybe I have a way.”

Aslan began to speak, idly shuffling the two Magic cards in his hands.

The Planeswalker Card—this was the real reason Aslan dared to adventure across worlds.

In the game of Magic, Planeswalker Cards are allies players can summon into battle.

But in Aslan’s inheritance, a Planeswalker Card could actually be considered an avatar, or a second life.

Its function was similar to a Lich’s phylactery, or a character card in a roleplaying game.

If he died, for Aslan it was merely like tearing a Planeswalker Card.

He’d only lose everything contained within that card—what was commonly called “tearing the card.”

And as a Planeswalker, as long as he still had one Planeswalker Card remaining, he could reincarnate into another when his current card was torn.

Although the cost of creating a single Planeswalker Card was extremely high, he still had two or three.

Meanwhile, the true Gift bestowed by Little Garden was:

【Outer Law: You originate from a universe beyond Little Garden’s observation, and you may freely travel to any world.】

【If you bring an unknown universe into Little Garden’s observational range, you will gain a large amount of achievement points, enhance your Divinity, and obtain Authority】

This was the real reason he hadn’t immediately fled this “dumpster” called Little Garden.

After all, compared to slowly and painfully training step by step, gathering knowledge and gradually increasing strength—what could be faster than Little Garden’s Gift?

And this didn’t conflict with his interworld travels—in fact, they complemented each other.

It was like gaining a double experience card.

And especially those last four words: obtain Authority.

In Little Garden, Authority was an incredibly valuable thing.

Not only for the various abilities that came with it—which were powerful Gifts in themselves.

Most importantly, Authority granted you the right to collect achievement points from specific phenomena.

For example, if you held Steam Engine Authority, then every time someone in human history—or even in Little Garden—used or created a steam engine, you’d gain a small amount of achievement points.

Though the amount per individual was tiny, human history was infinite. Combined, it became a massive accumulation of achievement points.

In Little Garden, achievement points equated to merit in mythology—and this was real currency.

If observing a new world was a one-time business, Authority was a golden egg-laying hen.

Continuous and endless.

This pointed directly to Sun Authority. As long as the sun rose normally, the holder of Sun Authority could gain massive achievement points and increase their Divinity—even while lying down.

This was why Sun Authority was considered Little Garden’s true secret treasure, and the cause of the two Sun Authority Wars.

Of course, for Aslan to obtain a fitting Authority, he’d also have to introduce something entirely new—something never before observed by Little Garden.

For instance, he couldn’t simply bring back a knife from another world and gain Knife Authority.

But if he brought back a Zanpakuto, then he could obtain Zanpakuto Authority.

Something like that.

Of course, obtaining Authority was only the first step. To truly gain massive achievement points, he’d have to integrate the Gift associated with that Authority into human history and spread its influence.

Just like the Magic Card Authority he currently held—it was no different from not having it at all, because Magic Cards were created by him using his Planeswalker spark.

There was absolutely no chance of spreading or expanding its influence.

After all, not all Authorities were like Star Authority, which could gain achievement points just by existing in the sky. Most required actively promoting the influence of the associated Gift.

Authority could be easily obtained by Aslan, who could travel to different worlds. But integrating it into human history and spreading its influence wasn’t something he could do alone.

In other words, Authority could be called a tax right over a specific Gift.

For example, Sun Authority. You’re basking in sunlight, right? Pay up! Oh, I mean—pay your taxes!

Authority was roughly something like that.

-

Title: What Was That Surprise All About!

“By the way, in Little Garden, is Authority valuable?” Aslan asked.

But what he got in return were two pairs of eyes staring at him as if he were an idiot. He had clearly just asked an extremely foolish question.

Yet, seeing Aslan was newly arrived in Little Garden, Shiroyasha and Kurousagi didn’t say anything.

Shiroyasha gave Kurousagi a meaningful glance, signaling her to explain.

So Aslan wouldn’t go and actually sell the Authority he possessed!

“Mr. Aslan, how should I put this?”

“Authority isn’t a matter of whether it’s valuable or not—it’s that no one is foolish enough to sell it!”

After all, what was Authority? It was a chicken that continuously produced achievement points and laid golden eggs.

And just ask yourself—how many people in Little Garden would dare to openly claim they possess Authority?

If your backing isn’t strong, and news spreads that you hold Authority, believe it or not, a Demon King would come knocking on your door that very night.

“Alright, I guess I asked too much.”

Aslan shook his head helplessly and said no more.

Kurousagi breathed a sigh of relief, seeing that Aslan had no intention of selling something as valuable as Authority.

Even though she desperately wanted Leticia back, it wasn’t worth Aslan sacrificing something so precious.

But Shiroyasha looked at Aslan and quickly realized where the misunderstanding lay.

She couldn’t resist opening her mouth, but then seemed to realize something and waved her hand.

In the blink of an eye, Aslan, Kurousagi, and Shiroyasha were all standing on a barren stretch of land.

“I admit, I underestimated you, kid.”

Shiroyasha’s current state was one of shock—profound shock.

What the hell was that surprise!

She had never imagined that the god’s follower she’d casually accepted could possess such potential!

After all, having lived in Little Garden for so long and been tricked countless times, although Shiroyasha had once been reckless, she now had far greater knowledge and wisdom.

She could naturally and easily grasp Aslan’s implication—that he had a way to obtain Authority.

Of course, as Shiroyasha—the being ranked first on Little Garden’s achievement list—she already possessed fourteen Sun Authorities and was in no way short of achievement points.

But these achievements were hers, and there was no way, nor method, for her to transfer achievements she already owned to someone else.

Unless another Sun Authority War broke out.

Otherwise, even if she gave someone a Sun Authority, the ownership would still remain with her, and the core of Little Garden would continue granting achievements to her.

As for Kurousagi? She also held one Moon Authority, granted by Indra.

“Speak. No one here can find out.”

“Not even other Two-Digit beings.”

Shiroyasha said with great confidence. This was one of her treasured assets to show off.

Amano-Iwato. In Takamagahara mythology, Amaterasu Ōmikami once hid inside Amano-Iwato, plunging the world into darkness.

In Little Garden, Amano-Iwato was also an extremely powerful Gift.

Amano-Iwato wasn’t just an excellent shelter—its interior was completely safe. More importantly, it could block outside observation.

Even the core of Little Garden might not know what happened inside Amano-Iwato.

“Eh… does it have to be this serious?”

Aslan’s lips twitched. Did they really need to hide everything so strictly? Not even letting other Two-Digit beings know?

“Of course it does! You have no idea how severe the achievement shortage is in Little Garden right now!”

Seeing Aslan’s expression, Shiroyasha couldn’t help rolling her eyes.

“If this were Little Garden during its dawn era, your Gift wouldn’t be anything special.”

“After all, back then, Little Garden hadn’t observed many worlds. Unobserved worlds were everywhere, and you could gain massive achievements and various Authorities.”

“But now, the number of worlds Little Garden has observed is as countless as the sands of the Ganges River.”

“To reach a new world not yet observed by Little Garden… it’s nearly impossible.”

“Added to that, the Final Trial of Humanity, the Absolute Evil, hasn’t been overcome—only sealed. Human history can’t progress further.”

“The entire Little Garden is in a state of scarcity. And now, someone appears who can bring in new achievements.”

“What do you think?”

After all, Shiroyasha came from the dawn era of Little Garden. Based on the clues Aslan had revealed,

She had already guessed the truth about his ability to travel freely between worlds.

But for someone like Aslan, who could help make Little Garden better, Shiroyasha welcomed him with open arms.

“I’m so glad I met Boss Shiroyasha.”

Hearing Shiroyasha’s words, Aslan felt relieved. Otherwise, he might not even have known how he’d die.

Was Little Garden’s situation really this dire?

No wonder the gods loved Canaria so much. After all, every divine faction was starving, waiting for the distribution of achievements after overcoming the Absolute Evil.

And now Canaria was gone, and the Absolute Evil still hadn’t been overcome.

The gods naturally had zero achievements.

“That’s for sure.”

“Then, what’s the price of one Authority? And what kind of Authority is suitable for selling?”

Aslan asked the question he’d been wanting to ask. This time, both Kurousagi and Shiroyasha fell silent.

After all, they’d never imagined someone could actually sell Authority.

At this moment, they couldn’t think of any way to stop him.

“It’s hard to put an exact price, but specifically, it depends on how many achievements the Authority can generate.”

Shiroyasha thought for a moment. As an executive of Thousand Eyes, she was quite skilled at appraising item values.

She was also a senior auctioneer at Thousand Eyes.

“The more compatible it is with human history, and the easier it is to popularize, the more achievements it will bring—and thus, the higher its value naturally becomes.”

After all, achievements came from human history. The more compatible with human history, the more easily it could be integrated into more worlds. The easier it was to popularize, the greater the influence it would generate.

Of course, the more achievements one would gain.

“But specifically, each case must be analyzed individually.”

“Just remember one thing: Authorities capable of generating achievements are rarely low in value.”

“And, if it’s just to buy Leticia, any Authority that brings even a small amount of achievements will be enough.”

Aslan, of course, listened carefully to all of Shiroyasha’s advice and memorized it deeply.

After all, from what he could see now, Shiroyasha had no intention of harming him. She truly considered him one of their own.

“By the way, it’s not that I don’t care about you—take this.”

As she said this, Shiroyasha pulled out one Sun Authority and tossed it to Aslan.
