Little Garden 01-05

Title: Thank you, just arrived at Little Garden, immediately captured

“Name?”

“Aslan.”

“Race?”

“Human?”

“Hm?”

“Planeswalker.”

Seeing Shiroyasha about to interrogate him, Aslan sighed deeply.

(Out of all the worlds, why did the first one I visit have to be Little Garden—a world overflowing with gods, demons, and buddhas?)

(And as if that weren’t bad enough, the timing of my arrival is incredibly suspicious.)

“Lord, could you please let me go?”

“I truly have no idea what’s going on!”

Aslan wanted to cry. He had only become a Planeswalker a few days ago. After preparing carefully, he planned to travel to another world.

Who would have thought that the first world he arrived in would be this one?

Although Mondaiji’s protagonists were famously strong, intelligent, and renowned—surpassing even many protagonists from web novels—and their Gifts were extremely powerful. Even Sakamaki Izayoi, the main protagonist, often struggled in Little Garden.

Let alone Aslan, who was currently just an ordinary beginner Planeswalker.

Moreover, there was one crucial rule in Little Garden: knowing too much was never a good thing.

If someone learned information far beyond their capabilities, the consequences could be terrifying.

Well, it might not be as bad as certain “hells” but the level of “hell” here wasn’t low either.

Fortunately, Aslan’s luck wasn’t too bad. The person in front of him was Shiroyasha—at least, compared to other ancient monsters in Little Garden.

Shiroyasha was relatively easy to deceive, but that didn’t mean Aslan could actually fool her.

He could only hope she’d be reasonable. He genuinely had nothing to do with the Demon Lord who destroyed Arcadia!

He’d just arrived in Little Garden, and the place was already in ruins!

“Of course I know this has nothing to do with you.” Shiroyasha said, slightly annoyed.

After all, she had personally witnessed Aslan breaking through dimensional boundaries and arriving in Little Garden.

It was just that his timing was too suspicious. He arrived right after Arcadia was attacked and nearly wiped out.

So even though Shiroyasha knew Aslan wasn’t connected to Arcadia, wasn’t summoned by anyone, but instead broke through dimensional barriers on his own to come here, her suspicion toward him wasn’t easily dispelled.

In fact, her current interrogation of Aslan was actually a form of protection for him.

One could say Aslan was lucky to have fallen into her hands. If he had been captured by Halloween, Indra, or any other allies or sponsors of Arcadia, the treatment he’d receive wouldn’t be nearly as gentle.

At the very least, various “interrogation packages” would have been unavoidable.

“You couldn’t even beat a bunch of little kids, let alone destroy Arcadia.”

Shiroyasha’s words were painfully blunt, but they were the truth.

After all, the remaining No-Names were only Kurousagi and a group of young children.

But Kurousagi was a heavenly-born being, a noble of Little Garden from the Moon Rabbit race, with ears connected directly to Little Garden’s core.

Not to mention she was born with four quasi-divinities.

Most Four-Digit ranked beings wouldn’t even be able to defeat Kurousagi.

As for the remaining children, they were all descendants of Arcadia’s executives, possessing exceptional inherited bloodlines and heirloom Gifts.

Despite being only six or seven years old, they couldn’t possibly be Six-Digit ranked. In fact, most Seven-Digit ranked beings wouldn’t stand a chance against them.

Just like Aslan, who was still an ordinary person without any real power.

“Don’t say any more...”

Aslan clutched his chest in pain. It hurt too much—so painfully much. He, a time traveler and Planeswalker, couldn’t even defeat a child.

But what could he do? After all, this was his very first world.

“So, kid, would you like to join me?”

Looking at Aslan, Shiroyasha suddenly felt intrigued.

After all, Aslan had just ascended and was already capable of breaking dimensional barriers to reach Little Garden. And seemingly, he could return as well.

This Gift’s potential didn’t seem low—certainly stronger than most dimensional Gifts in Little Garden.

Shiroyasha only knew one person who could freely travel back and forth between Little Garden and the outside world: her archenemy.

The Star of the Sun and Gold, the Queen of the Boundary, the Three-Digit ranked Queen Halloween.

Besides her, unless one was a being of Two-Digit rank, no one else could move between worlds as easily as Aslan.

Join Shiroyasha?

Aslan hesitated slightly.

Shiroyasha—the Star of the Sun and White Night—was known for her fondness of beautiful girls.

Ah, no, that’s wrong.

The White Night King, heliocentric theory incarnate, was once the Final Trial of humanity, a being of the strongest Two-Digit rank, despite having suffered three defeats.

Still, Shiroyasha’s current power remained at the Two-Digit level.

(So, did I just find a powerful boss? Cough cough, get real, don’t daydream.)

Aslan was quite self-aware. Although as a Planeswalker he could travel to different worlds and even create Magic cards, his potential in Little Garden was limited.

The three protagonists in the original story—wasn’t each of them vastly superior to him?

Sakamaki Izayoi, owner of the Third Perpetual Motion Machine and Cosmological Imitation.

Kudou Asuka, Oraculum, capable of producing massive numbers of quasi-divinities once developed.

Kasukabe Yo, Genome Tree, able to imitate divine abilities and even fight Azi Dahaka, the Absolute Evil of Three-Digit rank.

Aslan couldn’t compare to them. He truly couldn’t.

Right now, he could only be considered someone clinging to the powerful boss Shiroyasha, who was currently a Floor Master.

But even so, Shiroyasha was an incredible backing for him.

At the very least, he could walk proudly through the Lower District.

So, faced with such an offer, Aslan, of course...

Couldn’t refuse.

“Hello, boss!”

Without hesitation or shame, Aslan immediately lunged and hugged Shiroyasha’s leg.

But Shiroyasha, disgusted, hurled a Divinity at him and kicked him away, sending him flying.

“Sorry, I only allow beautiful girls to hug my legs. You? Forget it!”

“Yes, boss! No problem at all, boss!”

Facing such a generous boss, Aslan naturally accepted with joy.

Funny—just a kick, but what did Shiroyasha give him?

It was a Divinity!

A Divinity that could elevate him to a higher level in a single step.

And Shiroyasha was a petite, fragrant, and gentle girl. Even if her kick was a bit strong, could it really be called punishment?

(Boss, I deeply respect you!)

Title: That’s How I Became a God

“So, boss, what’s our next task?”

Aslan asked respectfully, not even pausing to absorb the Divinity in his hand.

After all, Shiroyasha was right beside him—absorbing the Divinity wasn’t a priority. His boss’s orders came first.

“Hmm...”

Shiroyasha glanced toward the former Arcadia headquarters, now the ruined base of No-Name.

Then she looked at the trembling children hiding in the underground shelter, and Kurousagi standing bravely in front of them.

Kurousagi was desperately trying to protect the children with her weak powers.

“How about you join the current No-Name? Help take care of these kids?”

Though Shiroyasha longed to speak the name “Arcadia” according to Little Garden’s rules, the Arcadia banner had been seized during the Demon Lord’s attack, so they had lost their name.

Even Shiroyasha couldn’t utter “Arcadia”—she could only refer to them as No-Name instead.

As for accepting Aslan, it had only been a fleeting impulse. If she hadn’t taken him in, he might have been claimed by her—Queen Halloween.

Better to have him as her subordinate than become that woman’s asset.

At the time, she hadn’t really thought much about what Aslan would actually do.

After all, she had even abandoned her former follower, the Water God Shirayukihime, to live alone at the edge of the world.

Expecting her to look after others? Don’t be ridiculous—just not killing them was already generous.

“Understood, boss!”

Aslan remained extremely cautious, playing the role of someone who had just arrived in Little Garden and knew nothing.

He didn’t mention Shiroyasha’s name, because doing so would only deepen suspicion.

How could someone who just arrived possibly know a figure as prominent as Shiroyasha?

Though his acting was still clumsy, Shiroyasha wasn’t a particularly suspicious person.

So he managed to deceive her—and even obtained a Divinity through his abilities.

In Little Garden, a Divinity was essentially the highest-tier Gift an ordinary person could receive.

Once bestowed with a Divinity, one could instantly ascend to the highest level of their race or equipment.

Take his Planeswalker ability, for example. Previously, Aslan needed extensive time gathering power just to travel between worlds.

But now, he could freely traverse dimensions. Even lower-tier spatial manipulation abilities were now within his grasp—albeit still somewhat awkward.

The same went for his Magic card creation ability. Before, he could only make property cards.

Now, he could confidently say he could freely create spell cards, land cards, or sorcerer cards.

As the highest-tier Gift, a Divinity didn’t just grant power—it also conferred mastery over abilities and enhanced cognitive processing.

Knowledge about Planeswalkers that once seemed incomprehensible was now fully internalized.

So how strong was he now? Without exaggeration, he could now destroy an entire city with a single attack.

At this moment, within Little Garden’s ranking system, he had instantly risen to the level of a Five-Digit God.

Though among Five-Digit beings, Aslan was likely still at the very bottom.

One could say that acknowledging Shiroyasha as his boss was well worth it. Shiroyasha was incredibly generous.

“Alright, I have business to attend to, so I’m leaving. If anyone asks about your identity, just say you’re a new follower I summoned.”

After seeing Aslan finish absorbing the Divinity, Shiroyasha hurried off.

She had many matters to handle, especially clues regarding the Demon Lord who had just attacked and nearly wiped out Arcadia.

Who could have destroyed Arcadia overnight? Only a handful of beings across all of Little Garden were capable of such a feat.

And most troubling of all—there were absolutely no traces left at the Arcadia base?

She’d have to interrogate them one by one! See if she could uncover any leads!

“Yes, boss Shiroyasha!”

After Aslan saluted, he finally felt a deep sense of relief.

From now on, he had an identity—and a powerful boss!

If only Shiroyasha hadn’t just left and if he hadn’t been so unfamiliar with Little Garden, he would’ve burst out laughing!

Turns out, the greater the risk, the greater the reward.

Then, Aslan slowly walked around the ruins of Arcadia, heading toward the only building still intact.

But seeing the land ravaged by the unknown Demon Lord, Aslan grew increasingly shocked.

Even the residual energy left in the soil was enough to kill him a hundred times over.

The intensity of that battle was unimaginable.

Yet even Arcadia—so powerful, with hundreds of Four-Digit executives—was destroyed in a single night.

What if it had been him caught in that disaster?

Could he have survived? And even if he could—then what?

Think about Shiroyasha: the invincible Two-Digit Demon Lord, the Final Trial of humanity (Heliocentrism), the Primordial Star Spirit.

No one in Little Garden could match her.

But now? Wasn’t she reduced to something like a mascot?

Surviving merely as a Full-Level Ruler in the Lower District.

From this lesson, Aslan discarded the arrogance of being a time traveler and the “I can do anything” mentality he’d just gained.

After all, though Aslan could now wield power in the Lower District, fundamentally, he was just someone Shiroyasha could easily create in vast numbers.

In the Upper District, he might not even be better than cannon fodder.

Five-Digit? Honestly, Aslan was just one of the 100,000 heavenly soldiers surrounding Sun Wukong—and even now, he wasn’t sure he could defeat that heavenly army.

What was there to boast about?

After adjusting his mindset, Aslan approached the last remaining intact building in the No-Name base.

Could this be the final act of mercy from the Demon Lord who attacked Arcadia?

Though the Demon Lord had the power to kill everyone and completely destroy Arcadia, in the end, he still spared these children.

And most of Arcadia’s executives were either exiled to the outer world or captured as slaves.

The number of actual fatalities turned out to be surprisingly low.

One could only say that relationships in Little Garden were too complicated—so convoluted that even Aslan, who knew the story’s plot, struggled to grasp all the intricacies.

But if something couldn’t be understood, there was no point overthinking it.

“Is anyone inside?”

Aslan gently knocked on the entrance to the underground room where Kurousagi and the remaining Arcadia children were hiding.

Title: The Current State of No-Name

“No, there’s no one inside...”

“Kurosagi-senpai! Don’t answer!”

Hearing the voices from the underground room, the corner of Aslan’s lips twitched twice.

Unexpectedly, he suddenly felt that Kurousagi truly deserved her nickname, “the idiot rabbit.”

Wait—weren’t they already exposed? He hadn’t even started questioning yet!

He thought he’d have to use tricks to lure them out.

Apparently, he had overestimated Kurousagi and these kids.

“Alright, the Demon Lord’s attack from outside is over. You can come out now.” Aslan said with a sigh, speaking frankly.

Hearing his voice—unfamiliar, not one of the Arcadia executives they knew—they grew cautious.

No one responded. This time, even Kurousagi stayed silent.

But shortly after, they realized they’d already been discovered, and hiding was pointless.

So Kurousagi immediately asked, “Who are you?”

After all, Kurousagi was the eldest and most mature among the children, even if she occasionally did foolish things.

“Hmm... I’m a god’s follower under Lord Shiroyasha. I was ordered by Lord Shiroyasha to come and protect the surviving members of No-Name.”

(Well, I can’t even say the name Arcadia either?)

But Aslan wasn’t surprised. It would’ve been strange if he could.

However, upon hearing Aslan’s words, Kurousagi and the other children fell silent, overcome by unbearable sorrow.

After all, just yesterday, Arcadia had been intact, and everyone lived in peace.

But in the blink of an eye, they had become survivors—and even the Arcadia banner was gone.

Kurousagi tried to say “Arcadia.” but what came out of her mouth was “No-Name.”

(No wonder Uncle Baron La Croix was in such a hurry to hide the children last night.)

(No wonder everyone was so anxious and rushed.)

At this moment, Kurousagi believed Aslan’s words about fifty to sixty percent.

She knew the relationship between Shiroyasha and Arcadia. Shiroyasha often visited Arcadia just to kidnap her.

Or she’d team up with Canaria to tease her, dressing her up in embarrassing outfits.

Yet despite that, Kurousagi could still sense that Shiroyasha meant her no real harm.

Moreover, as a noble of Little Garden’s Moon Rabbit race—whose ears were connected to the world’s core—she could easily detect lies.

After confirming that Aslan wasn’t lying, Kurousagi opened the underground room’s door and allowed him inside.

“Uhm...”

Kurousagi stared at Aslan, speechless. She had no idea what his name was.

Seeing Kurousagi’s awkward expression, Aslan couldn’t help but smile. He then introduced himself.

“You can call me Aslan. I’m a Planeswalker who just arrived in Little Garden and recently became a god’s follower under Lord Shiroyasha.”

“And I know absolutely nothing about Little Garden—I’ll have to rely on you all to inform me.”

Aslan shrugged helplessly. Who could blame him? He’d just arrived in Little Garden and was already given this kind of task by his utterly unreliable boss?

“As for the situation outside, you should see it for yourselves.”

Aslan stopped Kurousagi, who was about to ask more questions. After all, he “didn’t know” what had happened to Arcadia.

Then, Aslan stepped aside, giving space for Kurousagi and the others to exit.

After all, he had no idea how to comfort them in this situation—he was merely an observer.

Moreover, this harsh reality was something they had to accept gradually.

Emotionally and rationally, there was little he could do.

Emotionally, he was just someone who’d newly arrived in Little Garden, unaware of what had transpired. At best, he could only offer a few comforting words.

Rationally, he was a follower of Shiroyasha’s, and his position always aligned with her. Right now, Shiroyasha had only ordered him to protect the remaining children.

And according to the original story, this “protection” was merely to avoid unnecessary danger.

Because in the original plot, despite Shiroyasha’s indirect help, Kurousagi and the others still had to go fetch water themselves, unable to drink freely.

Let alone now—Arcadia was already a detonated bomb, with many former allies of Arcadia watching this place closely.

What if Aslan did something wrong, and some major figures suspected him of involvement in Arcadia’s destruction?

That suspicion would be impossible to clear.

At least until Shiroyasha completed her investigation and made an official statement, Aslan could only do this:

Play the role of a clueless guard.

“Thank you, Mr. Aslan.”

After bowing to Aslan, Kurousagi quickly rushed out of the underground room, exiting the only remaining intact building, and looked out over the former Arcadia base.

The land was dry and lifeless.

Ruins and debris were scattered everywhere. Buildings lay in ruins. The river that yesterday still flowed with holy water from a heavenly spring

Now looked as if struck by severe drought, not a single drop remaining.

The entire base, except for that villa, had no other structure left standing.

Perhaps even that villa was only saved because Arcadia’s executives had sacrificed their lives?

Instantly, an overwhelming sorrow flooded Kurousagi’s heart.

Was it going to be like this again? The same scene from two hundred years ago in Moonshadow City reappeared before her eyes.

Was she, Kurousagi, a bringer of misfortune?

Two hundred years ago, to celebrate her birthday as a child god, nearly all the Moon Rabbits in Little Garden gathered in Moonshadow City for a grand celebration.

Then, the Absolute Evil, Azi Dahaka, appeared. The entire Moon Rabbit race was wiped out—except for her, the sole survivor.

Now, her current home, Arcadia, had suffered the same fate.

Seeing Kurousagi slightly broken, Aslan sympathetically patted her shoulder in comfort.

“Thank you, Mr. Aslan.”

Kurousagi quickly pulled herself together. After all, she knew well that she couldn’t remain broken forever.

She had the community’s children to take care of. She had to be strong.

“Good that you’ve thought of that, because I don’t really understand what’s going on, so it’s hard to say whether I can help.”

“Of course you can help! Your very presence here is already a great support.”

Kurousagi said sincerely. Although Aslan’s presence was merely an order from Shiroyasha, it signified one thing:

Shiroyasha—and Arcadia’s former allies—had not abandoned Arcadia.

No-Name wasn’t completely alone.

It gave her a powerful boost of morale.

Title: Useless Preparations

“By the way, Mr. Aslan, when did you arrive in Little Garden?”

Kurousagi asked, looking at Aslan with curiosity. After a brief moment of sorrow, she had quickly regained her spirits.

After all, there were now many children in the No-Name community who depended on her. She was the only adult among them.

She had to bear her responsibilities—there was no time left for grieving or crying.

But she was also a little curious about Aslan. When had Shiroyasha acquired a new follower?

Wasn’t Shiroyasha’s divine follower just the Water God? And wasn’t that Water God currently training at the edge of the world?

“Maybe about ten minutes ago.”

Aslan answered, estimating the time. In reality, ten minutes ago, he had still been in the world he previously lived in.

Actually, this wasn’t the first time Aslan had traveled between worlds. His Planeswalker ability had awakened after he died and was reborn into an ordinary, everyday world.

That world was truly mundane—so ordinary that Aslan found nothing unusual about it.

It wasn’t even an anime-style crossover world. It was a normal world without magic. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have made his first journey to Little Garden completely unprepared.

Well... though it wasn’t as if he came with no preparations at all?

He had prepared a lot.

His supplies could fill a large warehouse, and he’d even stolen an entire U.S. military weapons depot.

But there was always a “but”. Who could’ve guessed he’d end up in Little Garden—a world overflowing with gods and demons?

What use were all those preparations now? Even if sold, they wouldn’t fetch much.

Even the largest caliber weapons might not defeat a Seven-Digit Beastman.

After all, someone capable of destroying a small hill with a single punch was merely Seven-Digit.

Besides, he now had a powerful “boss” and had become a Five-Digit Divinity holder—essentially, a god.

“I see.”

Kurousagi finally understood what “just arrived in Little Garden” truly meant. The other party really had just arrived.

Aslan probably didn’t even know what Little Garden was, yet Shiroyasha had already thrown him into taking care of them.

Instantly, Kurousagi felt an overwhelming urge to complain. Shiroyasha was truly unreliable, wasn’t she?

Who makes someone their follower without giving them any basic knowledge at all?

“Then, how about I introduce Little Garden to you?”

Kurousagi sighed, steeled herself, and took on the role of a teacher, preparing to explain Little Garden to Aslan.

Of course, Aslan listened very seriously. Although he already had considerable knowledge about Little Garden, it was only because he had watched anime and read related fan fiction—so its credibility was questionable.

And after traveling between worlds, if he actually believed in the so-called “original story” he’d essentially be seeking death.

Characters could serve as references, but anyone who took the plot seriously was a genuine fool.

Through Kurousagi’s explanations and introductions, Aslan learned what Little Garden was: a place where various Gift Games were the central theme.

Overall, Gift Games were all-or-nothing contests, overseen by the core of Little Garden. The winner gained everything, while the loser naturally lost everything.

This included their powers, and even their very selves could become another’s slave.

There were also Demon Lords who could forcibly initiate Gift Games using Master Host Authority. No-Name had become like this after encountering a Demon Lord.

Kurousagi also took the opportunity to warn Aslan not to try challenging a Demon Lord.

Aslan had just obtained a Divinity and hadn’t even gotten used to his own powers yet—how could he possibly stand against a Demon Lord?

Demon Lords were terrifying beings far above the Five-Digit level.

Yet seeing Kurousagi—a natural Four-Digit god—seriously warning Aslan not to challenge a Five-Digit Demon Lord,

The scene seemed oddly amusing.

Of course, Aslan took note of this point. How could he be so arrogant as to challenge a Demon Lord?

“By the way, Mr. Aslan, what is your Gift?”

A Gift was the foundation for ordinary people to survive in Little Garden. It referred to abilities, artifacts, or other things bestowed by gods or goddesses, granting powers beyond normal humans.

“A spark that crosses worlds, and Magic cards that seal everything.”

The Planeswalker spark and the ability to create Magic cards. The first gave Aslan the power to freely travel to different worlds.

The latter allowed him to turn his experiences into his own power, then manifest them as Magic cards.

Was there any need to hide his abilities? Not at all. He might have considered it earlier.

But after Shiroyasha saw the essence of his abilities at a single glance, Aslan gave up.

Better to be open—it would make gaining investment easier.

After all, as a Planeswalker, what needed to be hidden wasn’t the ability to travel between worlds or create Magic cards, but which Magic cards he actually possessed.

“And, if I had arrived just one day earlier, perhaps I could’ve been your friend, Kurousagi?”

Saying this, Aslan pulled out a Magic card containing snacks and handed it to Kurousagi, telling her to open it.

A single-use item card. Aslan had created many of these when preparing his supplies.

“Though, of course, there’s a worse possibility...”

Aslan trailed off, not continuing. Both of them understood what he meant.

“That’s true.”

Kurousagi looked at Aslan, silent again, unsure what she was thinking.

But the quiet moment didn’t last long. A blue-and-black blur suddenly dashed into Kurousagi’s arms, hugging her tightly—almost knocking her to the ground.

Only Aslan’s quick assistance softened the impact.

At the same time, lewd laughter echoed.

“Long time no see, Kurousagi!”

“Still feels just as good as usual~~~”

Shiroyasha said cheerfully, rubbing her body against Kurousagi’s.

Meanwhile, Aslan could only clear his throat twice, reminding Shiroyasha to maintain her dignity!

His boss’s authority was nearly ruined!

But Shiroyasha acted as if she hadn’t heard him, continuing to cling tightly to Kurousagi, inhaling her scent.

One could only say—was she really Shiroyasha?

“You’re truly the tastiest Kurousagi!”

“Kurousagi, I need your comfort~~~”

Kurousagi, being touched by Shiroyasha, quickly snapped back to reality. She looked at the suddenly appeared Shiroyasha.

“Lord Shiroyasha? When did you arrive?”

Kurousagi was slightly surprised, but soon felt Shiroyasha’s actions growing increasingly outrageous.

She couldn’t take it anymore!

She grabbed Shiroyasha’s head and forcefully threw her toward Aslan.

“Go find your own follower! Get away from me!”

Title: A Glimmer of Hope Given

Facing his boss being thrown at him by Kurousagi, Aslan, of course, dodged expressionlessly.

How ridiculous—surely no one expected a small Five-Digit god like him to withstand the impact of a Star Spirit being hurled at him, right?

Especially since this Star Spirit had been thrown by an angry Kurousagi!

Aslan didn’t think his fragile body could endure such force.

“Hey, you! Seeing your main god thrown like that, why didn’t you catch her?”

Shiroyasha climbed out of the large crater she had created, dusted herself off, and glared at Aslan with irritation.

Her newly acknowledged god’s follower, and he couldn’t even show basic respect to his own master!

What was the point of having a follower like this?

“Sorry, I don’t recognize a boss who starts molesting girls the moment she arrives.”

Aslan replied flatly, especially as he noticed Kurousagi’s awkward expression.

He really wanted to say he had absolutely no idea who this shameful boss was.

The good impression he had painstakingly built in front of Kurousagi had, in an instant, been completely shattered by Shiroyasha.

“You brat...”

Shiroyasha stared at Aslan, speechless. Did he think she couldn’t see exactly what he was thinking?

A pervert who was actually a little excited when kicked by her!

What was he trying to hide?

Did he think she hadn’t noticed his thoughts when he hugged her leg earlier?

Aslan had completely taken advantage of her!

In the end, he had actually succeeded.

Shiroyasha and Aslan—both were the same. Neither was better than the other!

However, Shiroyasha hadn’t come to see Kurousagi just to tease her.

She wouldn’t have traveled all this way for something so trivial.

Of course, she hadn’t come for Aslan either. Aslan was just a god’s follower she had casually accepted.

◆━⊰✧⊱━◆

Some time later, in the only remaining villa’s meeting room in No-Name.

Aslan stood politely behind Shiroyasha, silently listening to the conversation between Shiroyasha and Kurousagi.

Shiroyasha lazily fanned herself with the fan in her hand, sipping tea brewed by Kurousagi.

She spoke casually, “The true culprit behind the destruction of No-Name (Arcadia) hasn’t been found.”

“They acted with extreme secrecy. My initial suspicion is that a Three-Digit God King broke the rules and interfered.”

Otherwise, given Arcadia’s strength at the time, it would have been impossible for them to be wiped out overnight without any resistance.

Kasukabe Koumei, the former main attacker during the battle against Azi Dahaka, the Absolute Evil—

Even among the exceptional Four-Digit ranks, his power was exceptionally strong.

He could exchange blows with Zeus, another top-tier Four-Digit, and hold his own, even if only briefly.

There was also Canaria, Baron La Croix, Leo the Sun, Leticia, and others.

With these elite Four-Digit fighters, for Arcadia to be annihilated overnight without even sending out a distress signal...

Besides a rule-breaking Three-Digit Demon Lord, Shiroyasha could think of no other possibility.

But who would risk losing their Three-Digit rank and incurring the wrath of the gods just to attack Arcadia?

She could only speculate they were likely part of the same group responsible for stripping Koumei of his human status back then.

To surpass the Last Trial of humanity and defeat the Absolute Evil, the main attacker had to retain their human status.

Had it not been for that accident, Arcadia wouldn’t have lost eighty percent of its combat strength—and wouldn’t have been wiped out by an unknown Demon Lord.

After all, no matter how strong other Demon Lords were, could they possibly surpass Azi Dahaka?

“I’ve already asked Indra. Indra found no clues either, and every recorded Three-Digit member of the Heavenly Host last night has a solid alibi.”

“That Demon Lord must’ve appeared out of thin air.”

Shiroyasha angrily slammed her fan onto the table.

If she ever found out who was behind this, don’t blame her for being unfriendly!

Just as Little Garden was beginning to recover and flourish again, its last hope had suddenly vanished once more!

If there was anyone who least wanted something to happen to Arcadia, it was her—because no one cared more about Little Garden than she did.

“Wait, no, even those who ‘appeared from thin air’ have alibis!”

“Damn it!”

Sun Wukong was listening to the Buddha’s sermon at the Sacred Mountain yesterday!

And he was Canaria’s teacher, so he couldn’t possibly be involved.

“And even Thousand Eyes has no information about last night’s incident!”

Thousand Eyes, the largest commercial alliance in Little Garden, led by two goddesses, whose main business was selling all kinds of information.

It was the organization with the most intelligence and news in Little Garden. If even Thousand Eyes had no clues, then truly, there were none.

Hearing Shiroyasha’s complaints, Kurousagi realized that Shiroyasha had done her best to investigate last night’s events.

She had gone everywhere, yet found nothing.

“But there’s good news. Based on confirmation from Halloween, this is now certain.”

“The executives of No-Name (Arcadia) are still alive—though most of them have been exiled to the outer worlds.”

But the outer worlds? There were countless universes beyond Little Garden—how could anyone know which universe they had been exiled to?

To return, they might not be able to come back until the end of their lives.

Not everyone had the ability to freely travel between Little Garden and the outer worlds.

Otherwise, Shiroyasha wouldn’t have accepted Aslan as her god’s follower.

Although she was now merely a Yaksha deity in Buddhism, her followers couldn’t just be anyone.

Of course, Shirayukihime was purely a matter of luck.

Her prayers had just happened to reach Shiroyasha.

And most importantly, she was beautiful and obedient.

Aslan, however, was not a beautiful girl, so the only reason he had caught Shiroyasha’s interest was because of his extremely high potential.

“So... does that mean if I manage No-Name seriously, one day everyone might return?”

Though reality was harsh, Kurousagi still held onto hope. The worst fear she had wasn’t realized after all.

There was still a chance for everyone to come back.

Hope rekindled in Kurousagi’s heart. No matter how long it took, she would wait for the return of everyone in No-Name.

Wait for No-Name to become the big family she once knew.

“That’s right.”

Shiroyasha sighed slightly and took another sip from her teacup.

Honestly, she really liked Kurousagi. If she could, she wished Kurousagi would join her.

As for the children of No-Name, she’d also arrange good places for them.

After all, they were descendants of Arcadia’s executives, and their talents were promising. With a little training and resources, they could become excellent fighters in any community.

There was no shortage of people who wanted them.

Arcadia was destroyed. As a former ally, she would take care of the remnants.

As for the possibility of the executives returning, or No-Name reclaiming its banner—that was better than nothing, though even Shiroyasha wasn’t sure.

She’d rather Kurousagi give up on hope and follow her to become a mascot at Thousand Eyes—that would be good enough.

But Indra had insisted Shiroyasha deliver this final message to Kurousagi, giving her a glimmer of hope.

He didn’t want to see the few remaining Moon Rabbits living like walking corpses.
