WCW was very good at showcasing Mexican and Japanese wrestling Tenay would explain the history and why stuff was important. But imo he never came across as patronising more like an excited kid who wants to tell you everything he knows. Rey didnt start using the 619 till WWE. The commentator with the lisp is Dusty Rhodes, Codys dad.

Psicosis 25/2/1999. https://youtu.be/vGSK3n_Yt8U?si=qLCPpfcoh2vE1XpL It happened four days after he lost the mask and the crowd is super mixed on him at the beginning. It was originally advertised as a mask vs. mask match, but the news of his unmasking had already reached Mexico, which led to certain fans feeling like he had sold out by doing a mask match after already losing it. It was changed to a title match and Rey for some reason made his entrance with the mask on. He takes off his mask in the ring, and tries to explain what happened, but the crowd is not having it, and you can tell that he's disappointed.
