People with Superpowers Don’t Want to Be Popular 799

Title: What Else?

“Of course.”

Asumi had anticipated this possibility, so she was mentally prepared.

Who told her she was a second-year high school student? There was no way she could go to Ren for lunch during lunch break.

“For dinner, Senpai doesn’t have extra free time, right? After all, Kamikawa has to tutor others, so he won’t go straight home.”

Gabriel took advantage of this and tried to secure dinner time for herself.

It was true they had to do things together, but that didn’t mean they had to do everything together.

“Don’t worry about this. Kouhai-kun will give me private lessons after teaching them, and the tutoring location is here.” Asumi said with a smile, “So, I can still be the cook for the night.”

“Tutoring you privately at Kamikawa’s house?”

Gabriel’s focus shifted slightly because of her words.

“That’s right, almost the same as now.” Asumi explained kindly, “Before you came, I was receiving guidance from Kouhai-kun.”

Glancing at the books placed on the dining table, Gabriel said thoughtfully, “Isn’t it strange for a Senpai to receive guidance from a Kouhai?”

According to common sense, it should be the senior giving tutoring, but why were these two the other way around?

This truly made no sense.

“It’s not surprising. After all, there are no rules that say seniors can’t receive guidance from juniors.” Asumi answered, “Everyone has something they aren’t good at, and besides, I’m only one grade above you.”

“That makes sense.”

Gabriel couldn’t argue with that.

But—

“But why did you choose to let Kamikawa tutor you? There are cram schools in this world.”

This was the crux of the matter.

“Because Kouhai-kun’s tutoring is very effective.” Asumi answered bluntly, “The results of Fumino, Rizu, and Itsuki are the best proof. Cram schools can’t reach that level at all.”

“Alright.”

Even though she still felt unhappy, Gabriel couldn’t say anything else.

After all, this was what Ren promised Asumi.

She had no position to interfere in this matter.

“It’s just been a short while, but it feels like we’ve talked a lot.” Asumi said emotionally.

“Indeed.”

Gabriel had to admit that there was a lot of communication between them.

But it wasn’t clear whether this was good communication or bad communication.

Asumi then asked, “Gabriel, do you want to go to the water park?”

Hearing this, Ren looked at Gabriel, waiting for her answer.

“I’ll go.” Gabriel nodded enthusiastically, “And not just me, Raphi, Vigne, and Satania will go too.”

After receiving a positive response from Gabriel, Ren felt more at ease.

“That’s someone I don’t know.”

Asumi looked slightly troubled.

“It’s okay, I’ll introduce them to you.” Gabriel said very enthusiastically.

She was looking forward to the scene of Raphiel and Asumi meeting.

“That’s really troublesome.”

“You’re welcome.”

After a pause, Asumi continued, “I just heard that you wanted Kouhai-kun to help clean the room. If you don’t mind, I can also help clean the room.”

“No, I don’t need to trouble you with this kind of thing.” Gabriel quickly refused, “Compared to this, the water park waiting for us is more important.”

“Yes.”

Asumi turned to Ren and asked, “By the way, what time are we going to the water park?”

“Meet at the entrance of the water park at 12 noon. I’ve already sent the address to them.”

As he spoke, Ren took out phone and sent the water park address to Raphiel, Vigne, and Satania.

Since they had just returned, they might not see it if he sent it earlier, so Ren had to choose to send it now.

“It’s 10 a.m. now.” Asumi looked at the clock, “It’s time to make lunch.”

“Isn’t it too early to start making lunch?”

Gabriel didn’t expect to start making lunch this early.

“Usually, I start making lunch for Kouhai-kun around 12, but since we’re going to the water park today, and the invitation was sent, we have to hurry to the water park first.”

Asumi explained considerately.

“Including the time needed to cook and arrive at the water park early, now is the perfect time to start making lunch.”

“I see.”

With this explanation, Gabriel found it much more reasonable.

“Alright, I’ll cook for you. Gabriel, is there anything you dislike or can’t eat?”

Asumi entered the kitchen and asked about her dietary restrictions.

“Wait a minute, didn’t we agree to cook together? Why are you walking into the kitchen alone?”

Saying this, Gabriel followed and walked in.

As soon as she entered, she could feel a significant change in the kitchen.

Previously, Ren didn’t even have kitchen knives at home, but now he had all the kitchen utensils.

Opening the fridge and seeing the neatly arranged drinks, snacks, and ingredients, Gabriel didn’t know what to say.

She had only been gone for a month, but Ren’s room felt strange to her.

“Since I’ve been using the kitchen all this time, the placement of some kitchen utensils and ingredients is based on my habits. If you feel any inconvenience, you can let me know.”

Seeing her reaction, Asumi took the initiative to explain.

Gabriel pointed to the kitchen utensils and then the items in the fridge, consciously asking, “Did you buy all these?”

“Of course. Some of them were bought by Kouhai-kun and me together.” Asumi answered softly.

“I see.”

Gabriel closed the fridge and took a deep breath.

Turning around, she met Asumi’s eyes.

“You’ve been taking care of Kamikawa during the summer vacation?” Gabriel confirmed this.

“It would be more accurate to describe it as taking care of each other.” Asumi answered with a smile, “However, he’s the one who put in more effort, and he gave me a summer morning vacation.”

“Did you thank him?”

“Of course.”

“What about besides that?”

“What?”

“Never mind, Senpai.”

“That’s good, Gabriel.”
