So here’s the thing… Sarah and I have been on a journey of body positivity together for the last few years. At times we feel like we are competing with each other, and we have to work hard to silence those voices. That’s why we wanted to do this together.

I’m a big girl. I always have been. I grew up with women like Paris Hilton being held up as what a woman should look like. I never looked like that and I never could. Like seriously, I would have to be dead for three years to even come close.

I thought that my boobs and my hips made me misshapen. It wasn’t until my late 20s that I thought having an “hour glass figure” might actually be a good thing. I always assumed that when people said that they were just being nice.

So here’s the truth; I’m starting to love myself and you guys have been a big part of that. Sure I get negative responses, but the positive ones so incredibly outweigh them that the truth has become unavoidable. You like me, you really really like me.

I am an imperfect person but you like me anyway. I will never have the body I wanted as a child, but you like me anyway. EVERY SINGLE TIME I have opened up and showed more of myself, literally or figuratively, you guys have embraced me with open arms.

That’s why I have this Patreon, so I can be me. I’m going to share these photos here for exactly that reason. And also, in the spirit of full transparency, that last photo is me losing something under the couch. Like I said…that’s me…
