Something that I purchased for the pure thrill of owning it? That's not a car or a house which I chose by what I could "afford" that met my minimum requirements. That would be my Weta Lord of the Rings elven leaf brooch. I loved it the instant I saw Eladriel gifting them to the Fellowship and was thrilled to death the day it arrived. I love it dearly and I think it cost $200. Obviously phones, computers, home appliances all cost a lot more...
