Memento Mori is the age-old practice of remembering the shortness of your life, the inevitability of your death, and its unknowable timing.
This will not be a file for everyone. Death can be an intense topic for some people. It can bring up feelings of fear, or grief. It can also bring up feelings of appreciation, gratitude, and compassion.
Remembering death can be an act of courage; it is facing the reality of our lives. It can remind us about what really matters to us, and what doesn’t. It can remind us that our lives our brief and precious, and we can take advantage of the time we have available to live how we want to live.
