• Men are supposed to have both estrogen and testosterone. There is a huge range of normal, healthy levels of these. Everyone tends to have a biological set point and nofap will not change your levels or your set point. That seven day study? Its main finding was that levels went up after the first seven days, then returned back to normal. Bodies are good at maintaining their biological set points. The good news is that that doesn't matter, because as long as your levels are within the very large range that is considered healthy there isn't any known difference or benefit for having higher or lower levels. Healthy hormonal levels are about balance, which is why doping with testosterone leads to a loss of sexual function and shrunken testicles. I think a large part of the misconception about the power of testosterone comes from its use in doping. It's important to realize that the effects seen in doping aren't the effects you get from increased levels of natural testosterone.
