Patreon really gotta roll out the embedded video service. Because uploading every cool animation wip to YouTube and having you follow a link to just watch a short clips is not inspiring. Hence my Instagram followers get to see way more wip stuff because I can just film the screen. That's why I am spoiling the fully colored scene on here, so you still get something exclusive (and then I can spoil it elsewhere).

I love combining 3D and 2D! I was worried for the end result of this shot but it is now one of my favorites. One of my goals with this animation and others is to avoid anime-tricks while somehow still managing production economics. Some manga panels are easy to turn into another static drawing with a flashy moving background' thing, but I want to experiment with physicality of things.

Obviously, the light trailing of his glowy "uuuuh i am going berserker" eye is inspired by Shin Kamen Rider's bee woman. I am gonna see it finally after tomorrow!

I decided that her moth-bits will bleed the goo similar to the one in the Animated Fairytale and then around her "seat" it's just her human blood. So, when she flies it's a mixed blood trail for ART.

I think I haven't updated here in a while. I get worried ya'll gonna dip if I don't do it now and then, but nothing changed: I just animate and I think I am rather fast for the end product but it is a slow process for sure. I think I do it too much but most of you who write back always support me and I remember that, and I will rest more! I think I will manage releasing this one in Summer and Geod is gonna be a shorter opera (I occasionally clean a frame of that slowmo Leto II fall to keep it alive) and let's finish this post here!

I forgot her antenna! Do you think I'll remember to put it back before finishing LC2?
