Laws of the Multiverse

1: Nova and Avon must always be present. In the event one perishes, one will be revived out of sheer necessity of the Multiversal Paradox for the cycle of energy to function properly.

2: Nothing is eternal. Mortals, Gods, Nova and Avon will all eventually perish. But nothing is ever lost forever. Everything eventually returns in one form or another.

3: Each universe must have at least one God and its Shadow. If one perishes, the universe becomes unstable and will rip itself apart if a successor is not chosen by the universe in the span of 3000 years.

4: Mortals lose their memory in their next life with rare exceptions. Gods keep theirs.

5: A mortal may NEVER gaze upon Nova. Her incomprehensible form can drive one mad. Those who maintain enough of their sanity may have any one command fulfilled.

6: A God must always protect the universe. Their Shadow must always seek to destroy it.

7: Nova cannot destroy. She can only create.

8: Avon cannot create. She can only consume.

9: A universe may never exceed 254 Nonillion light years in diameter. A universe exceeding that diameter will collapse in on itself.

10: A universe that lacks sentient life within a 48 billion year span will be considered dead and thus will be consumed by Avon only to be reborn once more by Nova.

11: In the event some intelligent force manages to change the very fundamentals of their universe, such as converting significant portions of the universe or becoming one with the universe and dethroning its god in the process by unnatural means will trigger the universe to suddenly collapse in on itself in an attempt to contain itself.
