A few days ago I discovered that there are neighborhood packs on gallery or tumblr that replace townies and a mod that prevents them from spawn randomly and another that prevents random npc from spawning to make npc jobs like bartender, pizza delivery or nanny. So you always have cute sims all over your world β¨ let me know if you want more information about it β€οΈ
