Here is set 1 of the promised set of Lucy on film...

TECH STUFF

They were shot with one of my Pentax 67's (both broken now) on TRI-X.

Processing was using the same formula I've used all my life, Ilford ID-11 mixed 1:1 for working strength solution. Processing times were usually standard as mentioned in the documentation from Kodak and Ilford (see attached file) - 11 minutes, with the standard agitation I use which is roughly 2 inversions per minute. A Patterson tank was used as always, the one which takes 2 x 120 films. Temperature was controlled using an analog thermometer and I've ever ben anal about temperature or about the process itself, I don't mind a bit of unpredictability, not too much though!

Scanning was via my Epson V800 with the negatives placed straight onto the glass with a clear piece of glass placed over the top to flatten them. Newton rings were rarely a problem I might add.

Exposure was worked out using a Sekonic L-608 set on spot metering (reflective reading). Recently I've changed to also using incident reading and then taking some kind of balance especially when there is any kind of backlight or stray light that might affect the reflective reading. I now tend to use a phone app for metering easy situations and it works amazingly well. I attached a screenshot of the app to this post as I don't know which particular light meter app it is.
