These were shot last Friday the 13th in Croatia. The ones with the fabric were timed within a 10-minute window or so when the light was just right. It was extremely soft golden light and when combined with Aurora’s tan, well it was quite amazing. We had a crowd of teenagers and some others watching from about 30 meters away as we worked. The kids were jeering and laughing and mocking Aurora. One of them asked if he could take a picture of her on his phone obviously so he could jerk off later over it.
The shots in the water were very testing for both of us. The current was quite strong and it was hard for Aurora to stay in against the rock which is where I wanted her to be for the light and also for the composition. The fabric too had to be in the right place but of course, it was victim to the current too. Anyway, these ones worked great before we shot some of her floating away from the rock. Again, there were only one or two angles that worked for the light and composition and it was super hard for Aurora to get into these spots without anything to hold on to and with the current surging near the rocks as it was. On top of that, we had to rush as the light was going fast. More images coming…
