Polish Eyes - updated
Added 2020-06-25 07:04:07 +0000 UTCThis was part of a roll of 120 - Kodak Portra 800, that I shot of Daria last Friday at home. Film NEVER disappoints. From a roll of 10 I nearly always have 5 or so keepers. If I shoot 10 digital shots, I won't have 5 keepers.
I do love shooting Polish faces. Daria has such interesting eyes. She is quite tall also, so her head went into slightly darker light in the living room. So much so, I had to ask her to sit down :)
Tech: one of my Pentax 67's, Portra 800, F3.4, 1/125 or 1/60s. Scanned by holding film up to the window and taking a shot with the z6.
COMING UP
Yesterday Aurora and I shot some Art Nude, something I rarely do. We shot two rolls of old Delta 400 and a roll of Portra 800. I even used the Mamiya 7 for two of the rolls - my old landscape camera which has almost the same resolution and quality as large format film. Dropped the film at the lab yesterday - the colour will be ready tomorrow and the B&W on Monday.
We made a set up in the living room with a fairly random assortment of chairs and tables to create some kind of balanced composition - and Aurora did her thing, without worrying about her 'levels'. Some of those will be in the EROTIC NOT EROTIC tier, the rest in this tier.
