Tech: 50mm lens, Z6. Some shots I held a small prism up in front of the lens to get some flare effects. ISO 1250, f5 - I don't usually use such a small aperture but wanted good focus and sharpness on the water droplets and skin. Also deeper DOF as many shots were shot quite close in.
Here’s four steps I usually do, unconsciously:
Edit: Silver Efex: I created a custom preset and applied it to each image, with minor tweaks per image. Then took the image into PS and did a small amount of skin retouching using frequency separation then some dodging and burning.
Light: The light was via an east-facing frosted glass window. Frosted glass is renowned for providing amazing light of course. Sun had just come off the window and gone overhead - this was very important as the day before when we tried, the light was too contrasty for the results I wanted.
Workflow: Put the model in the light and see what she does. Tweak poses and camera angles as things progress and you see what you want to see.
