I'm so obsessed!
Probably this would be interesting for you to know that I was learning gastroenterology for years. My friends tell me that I must go work a doctor, but I decided - no. Because if I became a doctor, I wouldn't have time to create these animations:) But knowledge about gastro-intestinal tract is absolutely necessary for a real eating animator, IMO. So... here I will give you a tiny piece of this knowledge.
What you can see on this video is called "antrum systole". This is a slow and soft, but powerful peristalsis wave that rushes the half-digested food further into the duodenum. Of course, this video is real-life, not made by me. But right now - returning to "TWW", I'm fighting for antrum systole to look as much realistic as possible. This is where the prey remains leave the stomach and go further for the final digestion...
