I never thought it would get this many requests, but lately people ask for it quite a bit! Maybe it's because it's more affordable? It def can be very nice to do simpler things from time to time, so I'm absolutely NOT complaining β¨
I really like this pose, I think it came out of my brain so naturally! It's so interesting to think I came up with such a pose without thinking much of it. I say this because, if you pay attention, the pose is balanced. She's not falling to her right (at least my brain doesn't tell me she is). I shifted her center of gravity a little to the left, but the backpack compensates the weight! And again this "solution" came so naturally!
Oh don't mind me I'm just proud of myself hehe
This is one of those skills you have to learn as an artist. Once you know how to draw the body in diferent poses, you have to make them look natural. This can be VERY hard to do, I'm going to be honest with you, I learned this passively, I didn't study for it. This makes me very lucky ^^U because it's details like this that make the drawings feel right. Then ofc I still struggle with hands and feet OH WELL you can't win at everything orz
Also did you see an increase in soft bellies in my art? I did π

Thank you so much!!! I feel like these are the details that get lost when the piece is posted online. At the end of the day, it's rare for people to even ask for such insights, so I guess many artists don't find these to be worth talking about. But because I personally really enjoy knowing about the art process, I share it myself!
