2024-11-06 02:12:33 +0000 UTCI have a lot of complicated emotions about the Anita Blake series (Guilty Pleasures), having started reading them when I was about twelve and having not had the heart to go past... uhhh... book... 20ish? I Really Like the world, but after a certain point the aspect that I enjoy the most - the supernatural mysteries - got put aside in favor of shitty polyamory habits (MAYBE they got better but idk) and so many hetero sex scenes that I just started skipping them. So tldr: it would be interesting to see your thoughts on it, but from what I've seen Terry Pratchett tends to be a more enjoyable read.
