Cyoa Scene 1 Mockup (Please read the description!)

Ok, so this is how it's gonna work. I will try to make each scene about 30s long and take polls and sugestions between. every time we reach about 3 minutes, I will upload that section publicly on twitter, and of course once it's all done, I will put the whole thing into one animation.

Now there are 2 things I would like to get your opinion on before we move to scene 2.

Firstly, you may have noticed the ugly black bar taking up half of the video with weird text and distracting icons. That's a quickly put together mockup of a HUD thing I was thinking of adding. I wanted to make it clear to people outside of here how the animation gets impacted by the results of the polls and have a way to keep track of what traits and abilities Amber has. Maybe even replace that space with textboxes for conversation if the need arises. But the more I look at it, the more unsure I am about it, so I would like your input on it.

Do you thing it should stay there, and I shoukd just work on making it prettier, or should I get rid of it alltogether. Or maybe some middle ground like just have the results of the voting show up as a pop up an the relevant points and put the traits and abilities in the description or on some kind of google sheet so you can keep track of them? I will probaly out this to a vote soon, but if you have any ideas or feadback on how to make this work, please write them in the comments.

Secondly, since I will be re-rendering this scene with such modern amenities as doorknobs and actual celling lights that are not just magical light orbs in the air, as well as possibly reeling in those jiggle physics and maybe even adding sound, now would be a great time to give your feedback on Ambers design. Feel free to leave that in the comments as well with any other feedback and impressions about the animation.

Once all of that is decided I will start posting polls for scene 2.

The interface area is an interesting experiment. The problem with the icons is that I'm going to want to mouse over them to review the details, which isn't going to work on a video.
