What I've been working on
Added 2020-06-04 18:16:13 +0000 UTCHey there guys!
First of all I must apologize for the slight stagantion of content in the past weeks, there were a few things that have kept me busy IRL. But don't worry, I haven't been slacking off on you guys. To explain what I have been focused on lately, I must first tell you about a certain problem that has been plaguing me for a while now.
I often get asked if I am going to make more animations. And the answer to that is always yes, I have a plenty of ideas for animations that I really want to make. In fact, I have started work on a new animation right after I finished the "Immodest Stretching" one. But I soon realized just how limited I am when I comes to animating elasticity. Blender (or any other public 3d software I know of) just does't have the tools and options to do it on the scale I needed. In the last animation, I came up with the scenes based on what I knew would be possible, and even then I used a lot of dumb "hacks" and camera trickery. But any time I came up with a scene first, it was only to find out that it just wouldn't be possible or practical to animate.
So, with Blender not providing the necessary tools I really have only one option left (besides having all the stretchy scenes happen offscreen XD). I have to make my own tools. How hard can that be amirite! The results thus far have keept me optimistic, so far I have been able to make a tool to let me do MMD style melting animations in Blenders realtime renderer Eevee (something that was so far only posible in the raytracing renderer). But when it comes to strecchi, jury is still out on whether or not I'll be able to pull it off. As I said, the results so far have been uplifting, but not yet presentable. I will let you guys know when I am finished with this, be it successfully or not.
In the meantime I will continue making drawings and renders. Speaking of which, I am finishing preparations for the next round of requests. And I am happy to say that this time there will be 4 characters instead of 2. Because of that, it might take me a bit longer this time, but I will hopefully be ready by the end of the week. Here is a little preview of one of the characters.
