Hi, I just wanted to add a little information I think you might've missed from the past episodes, at one point you see a kid that was playing with a boat he made out of scrap, he then enters a cave where he sees a "mad scientist" that is "trying to save a creature from it's mutation", that little kid was young viktor, and the scientist was Singed (now is one of Silco's goons, shown in one of the first episodes, when that boy gets turned into a big purple monster). In that flashback scene it's shown to us the moment Singed invented shimmer, he wasn't actually saving the big lizard looking animal, he was abusing it's power to extract a substance, he then used it to make the power enhancing drug that is destroying today's people lives. In episode 6 and 7 Viktor confronts singed about shimmer and abuse of power, or "joining the dark side". I didn't know if you managed to catch that so I wanted to make sure
