Blood Moon Erma Original Concept Art and Night Parade Thumbnails
Added 2023-03-30 21:14:18 +0000 UTCNow that the main parts of the Night Parade are done, I can now show the original concept sketches and thumbnails used for the past few chapters. The main idea for this particular form of Erma was that while minimally used, the red had to feel as it had spread around her, both veins and hair. Also that she had horns but can barely be seen amongst the madness of her hair.
In terms of the events that happened throughout the thumbnails, Donovan Tracy contributed with 2 additions. The first was the reveal of the giants living within Erma's hair. The second was the flashback scene in Erma's return to her parents. Both important plot points added in the final hours before penciling. One being an addition to the lore of Erma's world, and the other was a reminder of the more grounded routes of where both the comic and the character came from.
