Added 2025-05-10 00:27:35 +0000 UTCHey everyone! I'm thrilled to unveil our updated anime watch schedule. We've got an exciting 6 episodes a week lineup to enjoy together:
Fridays & Sundays: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
This was decided because we had them watch episode 1 of Demon Slayer, FMAB, and JJK. Based on the first episode, they picked Demon Slayer. I haven't seen any of these 3 and am looking forward to editing and seeing if they enjoy it. I have seen a lot of comments on here and YouTube stating our reactors might drop it if they pick it, but we will see.Saturdays & Wednesdays: Vinland Saga
They have already started this as you know but these will be the days they are posted.Tuesdays & Thursdays: Frieren: Beyond Journey's End
This will replace Death Note, so we will start on the 22nd of this month. The final episode of Death Note will be next Thursday, and they have brought special props and a VERY insane meal, so tune in to that. The following Tuesday, the 20th, will be a discussion video.

2025-06-29 00:08:15 +0000 UTCFor the Gals i’d recommend Ancient Magus Bride, would find it hard for the boys to like it but as a guy myself I still enjoy the show, the Dub is pretty great too, sorta like twilight with Faries instead of vampires

2025-05-24 12:12:29 +0000 UTCA lot of people are recommending a lot more Anime and thats fine but to be different ill recommend "Arcane" its an animated show about a video game but dont be fooled, the characters, story and animation are next level, and its in English so its a nice change of pace, its not too long too, only 2 seasons so about 18 episodes total. It is highly rated and very popular, i think it would be a big hit for youtube as well for sure.

I would love to see them watch when life gives you tangerines. It one of the best recent shows I’ve ever came across and is relatable to people of all ages and backgrounds. There’s a wide range of genres. Please consider it. It will give them something different and new

2025-05-19 08:00:54 +0000 UTCHere are some anime I think they will enjoy: Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky, Howl's Moving Castle, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Grave of the Fireflies, My Neighbor Totoro, I want to eat your Pancreas, Wolf Children, Your Lie in April, Violet Evergarden, and Erased. If they ever get into non-anime eastern movies or drama series, there are a ton worth watching. If they are particularly interested in shows from Japan, ones that really stuck with me were the drama series version of "1 Liter of Tears" and the movie "Drawing Closer". There always is the live action, "Alice in Borderland" series but it may be too much for them to watch. Many people in Japan love Korean drama and movies too, they are known to really bring you on a rollercoaster of emotions. I always wonder why Youtubers always watch the trendy ones like alice in borderland or squid game but never explore other eastern dramas or movies. I think if you did that, you'll grab a wider audience and viewership and possibly start a new trend. Finding the drama series or movies may be a challenge though.

I think it's a wonderful idea to shift our focus from anime set in Western or Japan to one with a Chinese setting. This is also a highly acclaimed and well-made series, so I hope everyone will give it a watch.

I honestly enjoyed them watching AOT and wouldn't be mad if they would've stop there. I think we should let them pick whatever they want or stop reactions completely if they want, instead of trapping them.

Also, not sure if the anime in contention will mainly be action, but it'd be cool to see a reaction to something like Re:Zero or Death Parade (moreso Psychological)

2025-05-10 08:54:50 +0000 UTCwhen i watched demon slayer i really liked the first ep but i think that's the drawback, it's first ep is good but after that it becomes boring but i do agree that there are certain scenes which is amazing but the thing is that every anime of this genre have them and have much better story, build up and execution to it and jjk is a lot better than DS in every aspect (animation is DS is it's selling point)

The anime is also beloved by the author of the manga
