Both Louisse and Kaya were kids when they were saved by Mikasa and Sasha respectively. And both times, a violent means was used. But the paths d kids took completely contrasts one another. Louisse understood that if she wants to survive, she needs to fight, and so she joined Survey Corps. Kaya understood that she needs to try to help those who need it, as much as she could. It’s interesting that unintentionally, Mikasa and Sasha inspired these kids on how to live their lives, but both took complete opposite paths.
