How did Armin survive? Well Armin kept his mouth closed, not inhaling any of the steam keeping his lungs and internal organs healthy. Armin noticed Conny inhale some of the steam earlier and saw it caused harm.

I love watching their reaction seeing a character they like die. I remember the first time I saw a character. I really like dying in anime. My jaw hit the ground. I was questioning if it was real for like weeks I was so sad. ๐ญ๐ญ

He joined the Military Police not because he wanted to live a lavish life of safety, but to uphold the law and live honorably protecting citizens. He changed positions once he saw the selfishness around him and the bravery of the Scouts and sacrificed his own precious life for all of humanity. He could have just stayed deep within the walls but he saw the injustices around him and decided to do something about it. He is definitely one of my favorite characters, I would have loved to have seen his thoughts on Eren's/the Island's actions in S4. I feel he would have brought some much needed order if he had lived. It brought me to tears when he rallied his comrades to keep the plan going and when his last thoughts were of Hitch..

2025-02-10 23:56:37 +0000 UTCmarlow's death (bowlcut guy) is one of the saddest to me. he was thinking hitch was asleep but she was shown to be awake and waiting for him. the flowers she was waiting next to are also anemone flowers, which are commonly used in funerals or to represent a forsaken/forgotten love. always makes me tear up a little bit. these few episodes are some of the best in aot. this & erwin's speech always make me cry no matter how many times i've watched.
