Deathnote is a solid choice, demon slayer is good too since its shonen and easy to digest while you can enjoy the animation alone, Arcane also a good show. For movies, if they havent watch Ghibli movies then its always a good place to start.

While it's great, I do think this Anime has too many things to dislike about it, and you guys would find almost nothing to relate to or enjoy. From this list small list, I can only suggest Death Note, Demon Slayer, Frieren and Vinland saga for you guys. The others won't pique your interest, not at for a while at least. Frieren - is utterly flawless as an anime, Incredible show In my TOP3 EASILY. Not much else to say. Demon Slayer - is very tense, with masterful action and animation, well worth the watch. I worry about how you guys will feel about a certain blonde haired character haha, but the show is very gripping. Death Note - This show is extremely interesting and very dark. This will also get you thinking a little bit which is nice. Solid choice. Vinland Saga - while not one of my favourites, this one of the best Anime's of all time, with almost unrivaled character development and storytelling. however there's something about this that tells me it's risky to recommend this. But nonetheless, it's an extremely strong contender for greatest anime ever for a lot of people, that says a lot.

Let me say this again the concepts and the stuff and attack on Titan. It’s confusing them sometimes. Death notes, gonna leave them not knowing anything. Vinland saga to slow it down get them hooked then death note. But we don’t want their whole experience with anime to be confusing.

The first season is essentially the prologue for the main character, which is great itself, but once it gets into the second season.. pure peak anime.

Death note is more 15 to 20-year-old age range Vinland saga 21 and up . People have to remember these are white American boomers maybe Gen X. You want them to watch shows for teenagers with a lot of Japanese references. Don’t you think that would be like a cultural shock to them. Let’s kinda keep it to stuff they can digest. And isn’t too much immature. When I saw a solo leveling on this list or re-zero. I knew people weren’t serious.

This movie has stuck with me for years and can be really eye opening on how emotional and thought provoking anime can be

2025-01-10 02:57:25 +0000 UTCPeople die in it just like in AOT buddy, they have an alright amount of comedy while maintaining serious dreadful and action packed moments, dreadful like the first episode, action packed like episode 19 HinoKami Kagura, and serious and sad moments like Rengoku fighting and then.. well you know the rest, a good reason as well is because this is a shorter anime as well which will allow for other anime’s or shows to come quicker, and ofc I have more to say but with that being said, just because they started with AOT doesn’t mean they can’t move to a slightly less dreadful anime to experience More of what anime has in general for them, as Mature adults I’ve arrived at the conclusion that they would like demon slayer, as I have stayed before, I’ve already thought this out. Vinland saga and death note are a close second and third🤝🏽

Btw I’m not a dub elitist, every other show like Vinland, ONK or DS should definitely be Sub version. I just think the Dub for DN is exceptional, with the lines & their delivery.
