I think it's important to point out to them that the patch Levi gave Dieter was Petra's that Levi took for himself off of her body. He told Dieter that the patch was Ivan's to help with Dieters own feelings of guilt and sadness. Also if you weren't planning on it you should have them watch the ova's I think Levi's especially will give them good insight into who he is as a character
