BD - Chapter 153 - The Conclave's Bee-haviour (Removed for KU)
Added 2024-08-16 20:05:01 +0000 UTCAuthor’s Note:
Oh, look. Ancient lore about an extinction level calamity. Sounds like a bunch of silly non-bee stuff to me. Don’t they know the will of the gods is happy bees? Sigh, silly non-bees. Hurry up and finish your silly non-bee stuff so we can get back to what’s important!
Anyways!
Will the Conclave come for Belissar once more? Can he prepare his Tower to protect all that the bees have built? Does the God of Bees have anything to say to a silly non-bee? Tune in next time, to find out!

2024-08-17 00:41:33 +0000 UTC+ letting the augur contact the ennemi is very bad from an information warfare point of view. Belissar should not give any information to his ennemi so that they can't prepare for his Bees, their different army tactics, the different terrains or his traps.

2024-08-16 21:57:50 +0000 UTCBelissar should not let his Bees fight outside the dungeon. They have a massive terrain avantage in the dungeon and they should use it to it's maximum to save as many be lives as possible

2024-08-16 21:54:54 +0000 UTCI can respect the human high concil point of view, as from what I understand, they were opposing the kings of old and did every thing in there power so that the catastrophe could not be repeated. That being said, I think that there fear of the catastrophe lead them to a dogmatic point of view where, instead of uniting with every friendly den master and beatkin to fight the hunger, they became dead set on eradicating everything that wasn't under their control.

2024-08-16 21:53:35 +0000 UTCI'd bet money that it wasn't a matter of the beast kin choosing to stay loyal to the kings and more that they were literally incapable of defying them.

2024-08-16 20:56:41 +0000 UTCI mean he is know for leading them himself, still should continue getting better defenses thou. As they say Hope For The Best, But Prepare For The Worst

2024-08-16 20:56:34 +0000 UTCThe reason they attacked here is because the leader had dreams of having authority the Conclave could not control. Even if they are more reasonable they probably won't listen to the idea of Beastkin.

2024-08-16 20:45:46 +0000 UTCThe thing about management many don't talk about is even if the one at the head doesn't become corrupt they are just one person. As the group expands it will be harder and harder to stop corruption from forming at the edges. I doubt they intended for that foolish noble brat to become a tower lord. You can even see him having dreams of living beyond the Conclave.

2024-08-16 20:41:46 +0000 UTCIf that specific character leads the exploratory invasion then maybe. But I don't expect us to get that lucky. Lol. They'll probably end up sending a bigot.

2024-08-16 20:34:47 +0000 UTCI mean that General character from a few chapters back who was given a few chapters back seems reasonable if he is the one who leads the expitdition, to the bee tower they might be a chance for them to leave the Bee tower alone. I mean he was givena quest to be blessed by the god of bees, and he also hates being called a tower lord, and doesn't blame the beastkin. All he wants is for humanity to be united, so peace is an option, but aas they say speak sofely and carry a big stick.

2024-08-16 20:30:06 +0000 UTCThanks for the chapter. Minor typo: "I don’t know what is meant by kings of old, but I’m guessing your referring to more people such as yourself?” Your referring -> you're referring

2024-08-16 20:29:55 +0000 UTCGonna need some more bees for all this. I actually just learned a lot about bees today, like that there are 4000 species native to the US alone. And the almost all the types that create hives are bumblebees, with many others living alone or with a few others. Such as Miner Bees, Mason bees, leaf cutter bees or Carpenter bees. Carpenter bees being even bigger than bumblebees. Facorite one i learned about was squash bees, which exclusively feed on pumkin squash and gourdsand are important in pollinating them.
Beeees!
2024-08-16 20:28:35 +0000 UTCThanks for the chapter! So if we send the augur down to talk to the next wave that comes to explain that Ruckalous and his forces where instantly hostile to the tower and didn't even attempt to find out if the tower was "Being used properly", and that using the tower to house and raise vairous defends of it to fight the purifactions, the bees and kurnuq, is a proper way to use the tower. Their is a chance they will leave the bee tower alone? Or more likely try to make Belissar become a tower lord.

2024-08-16 20:25:03 +0000 UTCThanks for the chapter. Loved it. Lore drop! Lol. Why am I not surprised that the humans fucked up and instantly decided no one could be trusted with the power they fucked up with. Arrogant pricks. We'll have to deal with an invading army at some point, we should start expanding the hive all through the purified land. There should be no safe ground for them to land. They should be harassed by the hunger as they arrive and attacked by bees as they try to land. There will be no safe haven for them here. Death to the tower lords, down with the conclave, death to the high council!
