BD - Chapter 151 - Interpreting the Prophe-Bee (Removed for KU)

Author’s Note:

Silly non-bee. Did you think you could hide the Queen of All Bees’ will from her best dungeon master? That was exceptionally silly of you.

You best learn from the slightly less silly non-bee. One of you, at least, understood what was important here!

Anyways!

Will the Tower Lords follow their disgraced party? Will Belissar’s Tower be able to prepare in time? What will become of the silly non-bees? Tune in next time, to find out!

I know that Belissar wants to be the good guy, and I don't think that torture is the solution for him, but if the augur continue to be uncooperative, they will have no choice but to execute him. Having an ennemi with unknown magical powers and capable of communicating precious informations with your ennemis cannot work long term

Yeah i beilve with their "Binding" of the towers they place them close together, which probably slowly down the rate of the purifications they can do which slows down their rate of expantion.

Durphymcbob

Belissar has no idea how to conduct a proper interrogation, restrict informations circulations and isolate prisoners, but that is why we love him ;)

nicolas

Why is everyone here rooting for torture? Also the augur is not an oracle so he can't speak to the gods. What he did before was make a request and there is no guarantee they will answer.

Thanks for the Chapter! The still unnamed nice Soldier is well on his way towards redemtion he is being EXTREMELY compliant he definitety desirves it. An oracle needs a decided bodyguard probably and i'm sure she would be glad to have the Water-giver continue to care for her and keep her safe. PLus he has a broken arm still right? Seems like the restident honey herbalist has a test subject to test new healing potions on. :)

'And then…the color of the god who set their path, the banners of the Tower, and the defenders that had struck Ruckanos down all flickered in the augur’s mind…along with the Tower Lord’s claim that there was an oracle… The augur’s face began to pale.' Reminds me of a parody animation replacing the word darkness with bees. It was bees all along!

Thanks for the chapter. Loved it. So the augur refused to speak. Sound like we need to get creative. We have those wax candles. Let's set some Maddening candles in his cell. See how long before he breaks. If he still refuses to break we might have to just sacrifice him to the gods. At least then he'd be useful and not a drain on our supplies. Can't afford to be feeding useless prisoners. Hope the other dude proves more cognizant of his position. I'm also surprised none of the gods tell the augur to help belissar, but maybe he'd be more of a hindrance than a help. The humans have failed to cleanse this world of the hunger, there's probably a major flaw in how they operate their towers. It also sounds like there aren't any other towers near belissar, I have to wonder how two tower's purifications affect each other. I imagine the bigger one has more influence over the smaller but if they were nearly equal I could see war happening. Would there be any benefits for belissar and his tower if they were to conquer another tower?
