BD - Side Story 144.1 - Peer Bee-view (Removed for KU)
Added 2024-07-30 20:05:00 +0000 UTCAuthor’s Note:
How dare you, non-bee. Do you not know you are in the best dungeon of all, as decreed by a god?! It definitely is not the case that an amateur with no idea what they’re doing just randomly threw things around! You reveal your ignorance, non-bee!
Anyways!
Will Ruckanos encounter anything interesting in the Tower? Who could be responsible for this amateurish Tower’s survival? Will they pass through the next room quickly? Tune in next time, to find out!

Good analysis.

2024-08-06 07:29:51 +0000 UTCWell he was probably taught to be the master of a "Bound" tower, and work with the other tower lords and probably was taught to defend it from people, or maybe since hunger adapts to how the tower defends itself the hunger fighting the tower lords are alot smarter than the hunger thats attack bellisars tower.

2024-07-31 03:27:20 +0000 UTCHis criticisms are wrong. Why on earth would someone isolated from civilization have guests at their tower? Why would he put effort into deceiving creatures of the hunger who are often outright immune to the traps? Also the biggest point of all. Servants dig the pit traps? Servants? What servants? Besides there is something important he did not consider. There was hardly any traps there meaning that there was a huge amount of mana not spent. And they are just exiting out of a choke point.

2024-07-31 01:07:29 +0000 UTCOf course there is only two traps there. They are only there on the off chance it is enough to take out something of the hunger. Did they. not educate him on how shades of the hunger fought? The bigger shades he fought were often outright immune to traps making trying to fool them pointless.

2024-07-31 01:02:18 +0000 UTC"No entrance hall. No guards or servants to receive visitors." And the education of tower lords is immediately estimated at trash. Dear hunger/invaders would you care for a snack? How about you bite my head off?

2024-07-31 00:54:04 +0000 UTCThe Tower is growing fast is it? I'm guessing the other dungeons dont do the daily purifacations.

2024-07-31 00:21:48 +0000 UTCNo, the pits themselves were a Tower feature, but he and the bees did originally line them with kindling, wax, and honey manually before they got the honey sprayers.

2024-07-30 22:35:43 +0000 UTCYeah, while Ruckanos is a dick, it's not because of his criticism. He's largely right with that. And frankly anything that would work on a smarter opponent (like his suggestions) would almost certainly work just as well on Hunger shades, so there's no real downside to using those strategies.

2024-07-30 22:01:45 +0000 UTCBelissar made his tower for the right reasons, I agree. The towers don't seem like they were designed with profiteering in mind, but to rebuild civilization after a planetary collapse.

2024-07-30 21:49:05 +0000 UTCThanks for the Chapter. I hate that i have to say it, but i understand what Ruckalous is saying about the traps, they are made to fight to more animalistic Hunger beasts, not intelligent humaniods, with an understanding of how the dungeons work.

2024-07-30 20:45:31 +0000 UTCDidn't Belissar originally dig the pit traps himself? Can't remember.

2024-07-30 20:42:52 +0000 UTCThank you for the chapter, I think can understand Ruckanos Point of view, you see the tower Lords make the towers for sentient human beings, while Belissar made his tower for the hunger.

2024-07-30 20:13:34 +0000 UTCThanks for the chapter, loved it. Gods these humans are just pissing me off. They're underestimating belissar and his tower, hopefully they're crushed completely and utterly. I want to see them suffer, I want their magic and skills to fail them. I want their gods to forsake them and leave them as fertilizer for the flowers.
