SCHEDULE ANNOUNCEMENT: …everyone, I have a heavy confession to make. It turns out I might be a…non-bee after all. So, I was not able to catch up on the editing work despite my best non-bee efforts, so unfortunately I will take the next week off from posting as previously warned to make sure I hit the deadlines. I apologize, it’s been a bit hectic over here these past two months.
…and of course, it happens right on a cliffhanger. Sorry everyone, I didn’t actually mean for that this time. I’ll do my best to wrap up the latest editing manuscript ASAP.

I vote for just kill him. He is not worth leaving to suffer. Besides bees would have to watch him and that would be a waste of their time.

2024-07-31 00:41:09 +0000 UTCI'm also not terribly worried about the normal soldiers - the standard bee soldiers are the size of a hand, if I recall, which is pretty hard to hit with a sword. Especially when it has the full agility of a normal bee. I'm more concerned about the Bumblebee soldiers - they're very large targets, and prefer to charge in. Seems easy to set one of them on fire, which is a fast way to make anything panic.

If he lets them come to him they'll have to go through the tunnels and maybe even the lava room before fighting the bee army. The would be in a bad position to defend themselves at that point. Especially if the bee sprayers can weigh the wyvern down and maybe infect one more two with the maddening honey for some fun friendly fire. Lol

One Knight captain with a full blessing, one augur, himself who, if I recall, was likely sent on the subjugation with magical gear... While I don't doubt the bees will devastate the invading force, I'm wondering how bad the damage will be, and whether the hunger will capitalize on the weakened bee force.

Seriously tho, I wanna see what the God's reaction to the augurs offering will be now? They're glorified delivery boys and deserve no other fate then to be fertilizer for the gardens. They don't have a clue what's coming for them.

On the other hand, having him live outside the tower, in a field of grass and trees, with no knowledge or understanding of how to build a house, no creature comforts... It gives me satisfaction.
