BD - Chapter 142 - An Overdue Bee-view (Removed for KU)
Added 2024-07-16 20:05:01 +0000 UTCAuthor’s Note:
Gasp, the First of the Fifth let flowers go neglected and forgotten? How could this be! …well, I suppose I did see somewhere that honeybees prefer large amounts of a single flower type as opposed to a diverse collection of flowers with smaller amounts of each individual type, a reason why solitary bees are still important. So, perhaps monster bees inherited that focus, made worse due to their preference for high-mana flowers.
…it totally isn’t the case that the author forgot to update the progress of several flowers and mushrooms with everything else going on. And if such an unthinkable travesty did occur it would obviously be the fault of the non-bees for distracting us all from what’s truly important. See, this is why we should have let Niobee sting them all away!
Anyways!
What will the bees report to Belissar? How will he and the bees change the Tower now? Can the First of the Fifth resolve all this egregious inefficiency? Tune in next time, to find out!

Well of course the first of the fifth didn't know. This is the first time she had access to the information.

2024-07-16 23:14:01 +0000 UTCI hope you find a way to simplify what the First of the Fifth is doing so you don't have to try and condense massive spreadsheet changes into a comprehensive digest that you can cram into a chapter. Mostly for the sake of your mental health Also I think the "neither of which had never been foraged" double negative is unintended

At least she isn't alone, the other queens and the conduit will be there to help her. The digger queen should spawn a few daughters. She's the best suited for caring for the mushrooms and the vines in the tunnels. She can also provide bees to fight in the tunnels which the shades won't expect. We're lucky that we haven't seen any burrowing shades. Imagine it just digs through the tunnels and travels underground where the bee army can't get them. The lava room would be the only chance to stop the shade since the mini volcano can launch meteors.
