Glad to see that belissar chose to protect his tower and his people first, trade and expansion are secondary objectives. I can understand how the digger bees would be an aggressive guard. The sprayers and soldiers should be plenty tho. I have to wonder what they have to offer to trade, cause we've got Mana honey, wax, and other things to offer, if they have anything worth trading for.
