BD - Chapter 87 - Exploring Rari-Bees (Removed for KU)

Author’s Note:

But…epic option! It’s like, epic! You…you can’t pass that up, right? Come on, it’s bloodsucking bees! A swarm of bees that…not only stings you but…sucks your blood…probably enmasse…ummm…

That might be just ever so slightly extremely terrifying so yeah, maybe let’s lock that one away for now. Besides, so the bees have spoken, so it shall be!

Anyways!

Has Belissar made a wise decision? Will communers be more beneficial than bloodsucking queens? Where will the karnuq set up? Tune in next time, to find out!

Honey made from blood.... hmmmmmmmmmmmm. Maybe if there was like a bee cow or goat hybrid. Imagine, mana honey milk, butter, cheese. And they also have plenty of blood to support some blood sucking bees. Can make a whole beecosystem

Beeees!

And now I'm going down a wiki hole about Dracula ants. Fascinating. Slightly horrifying, but fascinating. And interesting to see how those logistics work on a real animal.

honestly...that would be kinda cool but I don't particularly see the reasoning aside from maybe a mobile patrol for outside the tower. I feel like the bees would be faster then hitching a ride in a treant to get to someplace.

Terrifying makes it great! As he said though there is the issue of feeding. but there is a food source he did not consider. Bees! Vampiric ants feed on their own larva. It is just nature to give away your blood.

The option was given by the tower. something made to fight the hunger. There is little chance it would not be effective against shades.

Thack you for this amazing chapter, if he really lucky maybe he can find a blood flower, that makes honey similar to blood.

Liam

Thanks for the chapter. To be honest, the blooksucking option did not really impress that much. First, trying to drink the shade's blood, if they have blood, sounds like a pretty bad idea all around. Sucking blood also means stinging and then sitting still. Another bad idea. Last, the anticoagulant doesn't really do anything different than the normal poison already does. Yes, it goes about it in another way, but it's a side grade at best. So personally, I would have even taken the Blader Bee over the Bloodsucking one. Even without the food consideration.

Drakenclaw

Loved the chapter. I see that it's unlikely that he'll get monsters other than bees, could he possibly grow some of his own. With the rising Mana levels and cross pollinate perhaps if he had Venus fly traps and breed them with the Mana flowers he would get something that could attack invaders, might end up attacking bees tho, so maybe not Venus flytraps. Oh, what about treants. A living tree with a hive in the canopy. A mobile hive.
