BD - Chapter 62 - Apolo-Bees (Removed for KU)
Added 2024-01-04 20:05:01 +0000 UTCAuthor’s Note:
Hm? Was Juosiutik rude? I mean, all she did was get a bit excited and start an accidental fire…in the middle of a Flower Field where a fire could easily spread out of control…after giving a passionate lecture about the dangers of potion making…um….
I-It’s fine, she apologized, right? Look, the Sacred Den Master is not even upset! And he’s a Sacred Den Master! Definitely not some sort of traumatized peasant who is still learning he’s allowed to get upset! And…who has a big army of monster bees…that will also be very upset if he ever gets upset…um…
Sigh, well, this is the sort of thing non-bees spend their time on instead of making honey, I guess.
Anyways!
Can Chief Rohsuak hammer the need to respect the Sacred Den into her people’s heads? Will the Sacred Den Master forgive Juosiutik for her transgressions? Could Chief Rohsuak handle a basic soldier bee army? Tune in next time, to find out!

Complacency is a killer in most organizations, so i'm really glad shes a really wizened leader that understands that you can be comfortable and respect someone but dont lose that respect.

2024-01-04 21:55:57 +0000 UTCYep, it's just Belissar's perspective. In fact, if he had been an experienced dungeon master min-maxing things, the queens and worker bees alone could have handled the initial purification shade even without pit traps and fires. If, for example, he had made four spawners on day 1, had the bees focus on maximum brood growth, and took command of the queens during battle to avoid whole hives being wiped out in one go, the shade would have been overwhelmed under endless waves of thousands of workers. But our boy refuses to resort to bee-wave tactics and his combat protocols seem to be a bit faulty, so you know work with what you got.
