And in other news, it seems we have a winner! Most people seem to like the hybrid set up, so we'll go with that. John Pratt did have a good point though as it could be used as a point of differentiation, so I'll think about that as the various hive cultures develop. Of course, Belissar may or may not start naming some of the other bees at some point...
...also, nobody tell 1-1 of the Fifth that the supposed failure 1-2 of the First is not only receiving a mighty palace, but consulting and collaborating with the King on its design. That, um, might be a bit shocking for her...

I think this might be one of the most glaring weakness of the bees. If someone is covered in armor or immune to their poison than they have almost no means of damaging it. Even the new soldier bee type might not be able to counteract this weakness

2023-12-16 15:03:30 +0000 UTCHey if one off thous bear pepole would get in something like thick full boby gambeson as makesift "Beekeeper Suit" -so thick that monster bee stingers won't get to soft meat bellow- they can acts as practical "purifiction targets" at new house. plus gambeson is mostly layers of rough linen set top of each ohter at paterns. And MC got flowers for it alredy. Ps. If tower grows flowers back every day yet leaves "stuff taken" as it is. could not MC take the flowers and but them in vase or pot to grow for few days to get more out of it? Or just transplant whit roots dirt and all? There even room that held some effect of that nature in tower..

2023-12-15 22:09:14 +0000 UTCA note on her specifically: I plan to refer to her as Firstborn in POBees since that was already outside of the normal naming convention, but Belissar in particular was never informed of that name so had to use the one he knew.

Royal Road's scheduling feature defaults to 15min increments, so if you release with a few minute off-set to that there's a lot lower chance of being immediately bumped off "Latest Updates" by everyone else's scheduled chapters dropping at the same time. Did the same timing on Patreon just for consistency.
