Since tower is warm and can make Woods, plus flowers will make nectar macialy and bees work whit Light on... and you might want night quard set up how about makeing swedes/Canidian torch candles from wood spruce with a diameter of 15-20 cm. 60-80cm tall. Cut the in four pice leaght. Tie rope around them. Make room to middle. Set kindel on there set at rise stones. That work as exstra air holes. Placse a candles at top, on eving Light that up, come the night, to set out the kindeling on Fire. Makeing the log candles burn about 5-6 hours. In high place and at door theyr should Light good part... have't use them in years.. someting like 5-7m radius area around them.

Then agen that would ends up killing bees.. if theyry dont respawn, after "normal" kill.. what if they have daily kill/respaw count.. 1-2.per day but structures dont re-emerge? And maybe a outside "hiden scout hive" would be good choise?
