(Removed for KU) TtOW! - Chapter 245 - The Core of the Matter

Author's Note:

Ah yes. The screw it, the MC can just do whatever they want part of an Isekai LitRPG.

Well, I say that like I didn't write this whole story so that Seero could go and do whatever she wanted. Once, you know, she wanted to do something other than have someone else tell her what to do.

And now for some announcements.

Yes, like some of you have sensed, we are approaching the end of the primary storyline I had (vaguely) planned. Well, Isekai stories can kind of go on forever if you want them to and focus more on the slice of life/side stories, and like, Seero probably could go through a lot more character growth since she only just unlocked emotions, however I do intend to take a break from writing TtOW (as editing of the official version continues) so stuff like that would be TBD.

And that is due to my next announcement:

I intend to start a new novel soon, this one my first original story since the Faceless Minion! Or, well, my first original novel since ever if we consider that the Faceless Minion itself was a response to a reddit writing prompt...a-anyways, I'll be dropping the first chapter for you, my patron readers, later today so you can take a look at where we're headed. Won't be starting daily chapters for it just yet as I'll still be focused on TtOW and want to build an actual backlog this time (lol), but maybe I'll drip some more chapters here and there.

Anyways!

Can Seero terminate the hostiles responsible for all this? Will there be consequences to the mass-production of Iesnuorium? How efficiently will Seero's new components perform? Tune in next time, to find out!

Comments

On one hand, yes. On the other, I would love if there were at least a few "omake" chapters showing of what could be later down the line. Maybe a chapter 10, 100, and 1000 years in the future. One when the Aesdes return to Aelea, and another about Seero establishing more permanent contact with Earth. I just think it would be nice to see Seero a thousand years down the line, still claiming that she is munching sweetrolls for efficiencies sake, but able to joke about it with some more selfawareness.

Thanks for the chapter! I think letting TtOW end with a 'The End *fade to black*' after this arc is a right choice. Most of the endless Isekai go for a natural ending after the MC hits the Godlike level of power, and lets be honest, that's where Seero is at now, isn't it?

Your power growth/upgrade chapters are extremely satisfying

Indeed. We can't force Seero and Lilussees to apply...e-word forever, you know!

Thanks for the chapter! If you want my 2 cents on TtOW going on forever, I feel like any new problems introduced would have the Dragonball Z problem of coming out of nowhere and unrealistic power growth. It might be better to let the story have an organic end and then have a series of epilogue stories with slice of life components.
