Besides, the "==" makes it more obvious to be pseudo-code instead of just bad punctuation. In my opinion at least.

2023-08-10 23:49:11 +0000 UTCMy rationale was that single = is assignment, so the comparison == would make more sense for the "what am I" question. Maybe assignment might make more sense for the purpose question. But, ultimately I decided not to get too hung up on the detail for the syntax, since this is just a representation of the actual communication, given two AIs would likely be communicating in a lower level syntax than anything that would be remotely readable for humans. So it's more pseudo-code for our convenience, rather than the precise code being exchanged.

2023-08-10 20:57:26 +0000 UTCGreat chapter. Quick side note. In most programming languages (not sure about alternate timeline earth) == is used for comparison, resulting true or false. Seero == OP would yield true for instance. When little brother cyber elemental asked this == ? I'd reckon it should be a single = sign (used for setting a variable to something else). Just like this.purpose = protect(family) Anyway that's ignoring the fact that code in magical dimensions doesn't need to make sense and you can do whatever you want.
