Eh, part of me thought about doing a full flashback side-story arc of all this stuff instead of just talking about it...but that'd be, like, so much work, or something, and require me to write an action-romance story that I know ends in tragedy. Err...ahem, it would obviously take too much time away from Seero...who...um...didn't get a POV in this chapter anyways...um...

Besides, it's not like an NSLICE unit like Seero would have many opinions on father-daughter relationships. Wherever would you get that idea? So, you know, it makes sense she doesn't appear much in this conversation

I do plan to have them speak more after this. It's just that Ateia's the one who openly pit all her hopes and dreams on her father so is drawing a bit more attention at present.

2023-07-10 20:53:46 +0000 UTCHmm, I had gotten the opinion that Taog and Amulius were somewhat close and that Taog saw him as a father figure or something like that, but Amulius doesn't really seem to care that much about him. He is talking with Ateia and explaining and apologizing and then at the end is like 'oh right, sorry to you too Taog, anyway...' I know he's not his child, but he still comes off as a bit of a jerk to me...
