We're nearing the point where a certain story development is about to come into play and I'd like to get your feedback on it before I make the call.
We are at the point where Ateia should realize that 'NSLICE-00P' is a serial number. She will likely take offense to this and offer to give 00P a real name.
But it crossed my mind that people might be attached to 'Seero' at this point. And logically, 00P wouldn't care at this stage either, so it could go either way depending on how Ateia decides to approach it.
So, I'm giving the choice to you. Should NSLICE-00P's colloquial designation remain as 'Seero', forevermore? Or should she eventually receive a new name, either from Ateia, or perhaps later in the future (since 00P herself wouldn't care either way at this point)?
Let your voices be heard! You have until the point where it'd be weird for Ateia not to notice, which might be next chapter if not already!

2023-04-27 22:02:54 +0000 UTCI mean, 'mysterious knight from a foreign land has actually been introducing herself with a title this entire time' isn't really much of a stretch, especially with how... Seero she is. And I doubt she has much attachment to it either, since she was in full true believer/emotionless robot mode before, whereas now she has Ateia and co. as her first friends? She had nothing before, and couldn't even begin to conceptualize that there were things she didn't have, whereas now Ateia and all are her everything? She should totally get a name. Oh, and with the whole thing with her dungeon masters, dungeon creatures, and /their/ names (and typical lack thereof), it'll be especially meaningful.

2023-04-27 21:44:04 +0000 UTCIt would be actively detrimental to her mission to change her primary designation at this point, regardless what mission we're talking about or a new self-imposed mission. All her missions depend on her ability to gather information. She's known as "Seero" that name is associated with the status she has achieved within human society, which benefits her ability to gather information unobstructed and without misunderstandings. Once she abandons her primary mission of finding her way back to Earth, it would be natural for her to fully adopt the bastardization of her serial number as her name, since it symbolizes cutting her last ties to her original reality and fully embracing her new responsibilities and status permanently. To the MC a choice like changing her name shouldn't come lightly, since it would've been the only thing which allowed her to form the scraps of a self during the time she was connected with other cyborgs. Her name is in her case literally tied to her self, not something she can just change like renaming a person. Since a person's name isn't that deeply tied to their identity. Even in the best case scenario she'd have to pick something similar to the beginning of her serial number so she'll always respond instantly, without any delay and wasted processing time. Kinda sad, but hardly terrible.
