…ok, this might be getting into spoiler territory for The Faceless Minion. But…it kind of has to happen. Ah well, journey not destination so you still don’t know all the circumstances behind the previous Commander!
Besides, at this point I’d think it’s more accurate to say The Faceless Minion is the spinoff prequel for Terminate the Other World! than the other way around lol, so if we have to have FM spoilers to maintain narrative consistency for TtOW!, then so be it.
