Whaaaaatttt? Favorites? The Aesdes have definitely never played favorites before! There definitely wasn't an amazing scandal of favoritism that resulted in Anualë declaring a strict non-intervention policy and forcing all Aesdes to get approval before walking the world from that point forth.
But ah well. The Empire of the Sun were kind of jerks and Velus was cool so all's well that ends well, right? There definitely weren't any consequences to that whole affair that might still be playing out to this day, right?
