Spoiler to: The faceless minion. You are right, but The ''hero'' of the previous series, the good commander, is an evil mastermind, who isn't really ''evil''. He is the commander that Icalos refers to. He freed the other NSLICE units and sent 00P back in time to kill the one who invented the NSCLICE network, which created the paradox that send 00P into this dimension. But since Icalos has the habit not to plan where his series are going, the faceless minion seemed to always interfere with the authors plans. It's something of an inside joke
